Below me, legs spread, begging me to pump her full of my seed.

“Where do you want to go?” I ask, breathing the words onto her forehead.

“I don’t know…”

“Where were you going to go?”

“I… don’t know.”

She’s lying about something, but I don’t let it bother me too much. She doesn’t trust me yet, so there are plenty of reasons why she’d be hiding what her plans are. As long as she’s not going out on a date with someone else, I’m not terribly bothered.

“Maybe we should stay in,” I say, smiling at the thought of pushing her back into her apartment and claiming her inside. All I want to do is climb into her bed and smell her sweat on the sheets while I fuck her like I just got out of jail.

“I know why you’re saying that,” she says, moving her body closer to mine. “And I know what you want to do to me, but it’s not going to be that easy.”

I smirk. “You like to play games, but that got you in trouble last time.”

“No, it gotyouin trouble. I don’t think your pockets are as deep as you claim them to be.” She moves away from me, ducking and slipping out of the tent my body made against the door. “If you’re willing to prove you’re actually rich, I might be willing to go out with you.”

I laugh. “Now we’re talking.”

She holds up her finger, taking a step back to match the step I take toward her. “Not so fast. I get to buy anything I want. No exceptions.”

“If there’s a price tag on it, it’s yours.”

“Okay,” she chirps, spinning around and walking toward the elevator. “Let’s go shopping.”

At first, I thought I had him beat, but I’m starting to doubt myself when we walk into the most expensive luxury boutique in the city and Pasha is greeted by the doorman as Mr. Chazov.

“You know him?” I ask as we’re escorted into the building.

“No, but he knows me,” Pasha replies with a wink.

Everyone knows Pasha. It feels like I’m walking arm in arm with a celebrity. The only thing that prevents me from feeling insignificant next to him in the fact that he treats me like I’m so much better than him, like he’d die without me.

It’s just as unhinged as it is flattering, but he’s starting to succeed in convincing me that I’m special. I’ve never had a man take me to a luxury boutique with the promise to buy me whatever I wanted, much less close down the entire business just for us. There’s nobody else here!

“Wow, this is incredible,” I say, looking around in awe.

I have a taste for luxury, but even this place is too expensive for an up-and-coming model. If I had ever gotten the chance to walk the runway, maybe I’d be able to grabonething from here, but never enough to build a full wardrobe.

Or even put together an outfit for dinner.

I twirl around as we walk down the white marble hallway, enamored by the way the sunlight shines through the glass and bounces around the room. It’s glowing, like I’ve walked right into a heaven reserved for people who have bought their way out of hell.

An enormous chandelier dangles from the vaulted ceiling in the lobby, thousands of crystals glittering with a rainbow effect like they’re made from diamond. I hold out my arms, watching as the colorful light dances across my skin.

A smile breaks out on my face. Whoever said that money couldn’t buy happiness has never dated a mafia boss.

Pasha walks behind me, guiding me with a confident hand into one of the shops inside the boutique. It’s an Italian company like many of the other designers I’m familiar with, but this one I’ve never heard of before. Too expensive for anyone but the ultra-rich to be savvy to.

A dress catches my eye almost immediately. It flows like silk but glitters with the same captivating elegance as the chandelier. I’m almost afraid to approach it, but then I remember that Pasha said he’d buy me anything.

It’s time to put that claim to the test.
