“Commanded.”

Bailey snorted to herself, barely able to contain her laughter. It was times like this, when she watched a group of siblings band together to good-naturedly torture a friend, that made her sad she was an only child. These three were ruthless together.

He looked over at Bailey, eyes flickering to Cassandra, and when he realized why she was here, back to her pleadingly. “What if I promise to leave you alone, and not come anywhere near you?”

“Come on, pup. I don’t have all day. Time to dress Cinderella up for the ball.”

He backed away from Cassandra, but there was nowhere to go. Even Nassau had moved closer, blocking him in from that side.

He turned in circles for a few minutes while everything sank in. “You need me to do this? For real?” He had paused, his panic slowly turning into concern and understanding.

“I do. I want to catch the stalker, and I just want all this to be over.”

He stared at her for a long time, contemplating everything, and she could see the wheels turning in his head before he shrugged, smiling big. “I mean, how bad could it be? And I get to see you naked. Hell, I’ll get to play with my own tits whenever I want. Make me pretty!”

The whole room groaned at Isaiah’s quick acceptance. He really was a sweet guy, as randy as a billy goat, but a good sport.

Cassandra had said this spell wouldn’t be as easy as when Ava disguised herself, especially since his whole body would be changing. She hadn’t realized what that meant until Cassandra spoke.

“I’ll need some blood.”

Pulling a small knife from her boot, Cassandra tugged the palm of Bailey’s hand toward her, intent on getting her blood, but then she paused, her eyes lifting to Bailey’s before side-eying Nassau.

That meant Cassandra felt it too. She knew she’d become more attuned to Nassau’s emotions the longer she was around him, but the rumble of energy that swept the room when the knife was pressed to her palm had surprised both of them.Without warning, Cassandra blinked her out of the room and into Cassandra’s personal sanctuary room, a witch’s room, hidden in her dark magic mist. In there, it was just the two of them, and Cassandra released her hand in a hurry.

“What’s wrong?”

“The silent wolf’s energy changed. He may not know you’re mates, but he’s very protective of you. The more you’re around him, the more you’ll both feel it, even without your scent waking his wolf.”

“I know. That’s why I’m trying to catch this stalker, and get out—”

“You’re not understanding. Your necklace is not strong enough to hide the scent of your blood from him. If I had cut you, he would have known.”

“Shit. I didn’t think of that.”

“I’ll bring Isaiah here, and we can move forward in this realm.”

Before Bailey could process what she meant, Cassandra transported away, leaving her standing there alone. Taking a moment to peruse Cass’s witching room, she was reminded why everyone steered clear. Her magical room had fluctuating dimensions depending on what the dark witch stored there. Currently, there was a wall of torture devices, whips, knives, sex toys, gags, handcuffs, spikes, boots, clothes, heels, you name it, it was there. She had her motorcycle leaning in a corner, and agiant bed with black satin sheets and various chains, ropes, and latches hanging from it.

Bailey had been there several times by now, and making herself comfortable, she sank into the satin sheets. When Cassandra reappeared, one fist balled up around the neck of Isaiah’s shirt, and the other holding the big pink suitcase she had packed for him, Cass looked angry. It only took three seconds before Cassandra released him with a little push, causing him to lose his balance and stumble backwards in her aggression.

People forgot Cassandra was Ava’s witch mirror, as strong and as powerful as her, but with a mean streak a mile wide. Most wolves steered clear of her, especially since she seemed evil as shit, dressed in all leather, and had black hair crisscrossing in tiny braids that waterfalled down her back. The kohl black eye makeup contrasted with her pale skin and the crystal blue eyes that matched her mirror, so that didn’t help her scary image, either. She was from a long line of dark magic coven protectors known as the Dark Daughters of Danu, and her job made her cynical and surly to everyone. But males and wolves aggravated her more than most.Bailey had never gotten up the nerve to ask why.

Judging by the look on Cassandra’s face, Isaiah had continued to be a pain in the ass. And now, she watched Isaiah scan the room, his eyes landing on her, then Cassandra, who stood with her arms crossed.

“He didn’t waste a second moving on from his obsession with you. Offered to eat my pussy so good I’d forget my own name.”

Bailey snorted and raised her eyebrow at him.

“I’m saying, there’s a reason I don’t have problems with the ladies. I’m basically the pussy whisperer. Give me five minutes, and I’ll have you begging. If you can remember your own name by then.” In one smooth movement, he pulled his shirt off, tossing it into a corner and moving closer still. “Give me one good fuck as a send-off, and I’ll die a happy man. Or woman.”

Cassandra snorted, her voice even and low. “This one thinks he’s funny. I see why Ava allows him to stick around. But he is clueless, isn’t he?”

By now, he was only inches away from Cassandra, trailing his finger down the side of her ribs, all the way down to her hip, where he pulled her closer.

“It’s just the three of us. Let’s forget this little switcheroo you have planned, and you let me prove my extensive skills. With my fingers. With my tongue. With every part of my body.” His voice had dropped low, husky, and was full of promise.

“Pup. I have more talent in one finger than you have in your whole body. I don’t need a man to make me feel good.”
