“Nice.” Aaron smirks.

“I slept on the couch. I was a bit too drunk to come back.”

“Sounds like fun.”

“Hey, can you add Haley plus three to the guest list?” Wes asks.

“No.” Aaron and Dennis both say at the same time.

“Fuck that bitch.” Dennis adds.

“Please?” Wes practically begs.

“If you want her on the list, you can add her yourself.”

“Fine.” Wes rolls his eyes.

Wes drags me with him down the rows of bunks, to his bunk. “Do you have any writing programs?”

“No.” I shrug. “I normally just write things down in a notebook until we get to the studio.”

“I have some cool programs on my laptop. Might help us come up with a beat.” He says, pulling his laptop out of a drawer and sliding it into a backpack. He pulls off his shirt, and I raise my hand to touch him before quickly pulling it back. I bite my lip, and he smirks. Heat rushes to my cheeks and other places. “Like what you see?” I look up. “Turn around.” He turns me slightly with his hand so my back is to him. I hear him moving around behind me and fight the urge to sneak a peek. “Okay. I’m changed.” He says after a moment.

I turn back around and see him standing there in black jeans and a new T-shirt. The T-shirt hugged his torso sexily, and I bit the inside of my mouth to keep from saying a word about how good he looked.

“Should I grab a guitar?” He asks. I nod in agreement. “Okay. I’ll grab one of Ben’s acoustic guitars. It always helps me find a good rhythm.” He picks up his backpack and grabs my hand. He leads me back down the bunks to the common area. “Where is Ben?” He asks the guys as we walk past them.

“Who the fuck knows?” Aaron shrugs. “Why?”

“I’m going to burrow Betsy.”

“Betsy?” I ask.

“He names his guitars.”

“That’s kind of funny.” I laugh.

“If you break it, he may kill you.” Dennis argues.

“I won’t break it. I’m just using it to help Abbey and me work on our song.”

“Oh yeah?” Aaron asks. “Abbey is going to do a feature?”

“Or maybe I’m doing a feature.” Wes shrugs. “We haven’t really worked out that part yet. Sit tight, Abbey. I’ll be right back.” He says, walking off the bus.

I stand, leaning against the fridge.

“So, Haley asked him to be put on the guest list?” Aaron asks, looking over at me.

“Yeah. We bumped into her last night.” I shrug.

“I don’t know why he gives in to her. I wouldn’t.” Dennis comments.

“She cheated on him with his best friend, right?” I ask. I remember what he said the first night.

“Yeah.” Dennis laughs. “I mean, she cheated on him a lot, but I think Patrick was the last straw.”

“Patrick?”
