“Yes,” I gasped into his hair as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, pulling him closer.

Everything else in the world faded away, and it was just him and me, panting and fucking, his cock sliding in and out of my pussy.

His movements gained momentum as his gasps became faster, and he hinged his hips, throwing all his weight into what he was doing, while my body opened up to him, taking every inch.

He moved like he was having a seizure now, animalistic urges taking over as he plunged himself into me, striking my cervix as I lifted my legs so there was nothing stopping our bodies from merging together.

“Emma,” he panted. “I can’t…”

His eyes lost focus as his cock exploded inside me, pulsing as it emptied.

I let my legs relax, bending my knees so my feet could rest on his back as he shuddered and blinked with a dazed look on his face.

“What was that?” he asked, as he looked at me with surprise.

I couldn’t stop myself from laughing.

“Exactly what you needed, based on what I’ve seen,” I said, and kissed his sweaty, rosy cheek.

EMMA

Over the next few days, Ialmostmanaged to forget that Nathan existed.

The guys must have scared the shit out of him, I figured, because he’d left me alone. There were no texts, no letters, no surprise visits to the studio, and no suspicious blue cars that tailed us as we drove.

Maybe it was over? Maybe knowing that the guys would kick his ass had scared Nathan off?

I wasn’t cocky enough to think the danger had passed, and I didn’t go anywhere without Adrian, Jackson, or Xavier with me; but for the first time in ages, I started to feel safe.

When Jackson drove me to Helen’s house, I looked around out of habit, but I didn’t genuinely expect to see Nathan’s car parked on the street.

“How are you going?” Helen asked, as she opened her door wide. “Come on in.”

The skin under her eyes was dark, and it looked as though she’d barely slept, but I was hoping that my news about the fundraiser would lift her spirits. She watched Jackson as he walked through the door and after he’d walked a few steps, said, “You’re not the same man from the other day, are you?”

Jackson grinned.

“No, Mrs. Williams. My name’s Jackson — I’m another friend of Emma’s.”

Friend?Helen mouthed at me with raised eyebrows as soon as Jackson turned away. I gave her my most innocent-looking smile and shrugged.

I took over tea-making duties while Jackson fussed over the cats.

“I think she likes you,” I said, as Pepper trotted along the bench-top and meowed at Jackson until he scratched her behind the ears.

“I think so too,” Helen said, as Pepper purred and stretched her head back, showing us the patch of white fluff under her chin. She followed him as he took his teacup and sat next to Helen at the table.

“Is there anything we can do for you while we’re here?” I asked. “Or anything we can prepare for your surgery?”

“I’ve got it under control,” Helen said, although she looked even more tired when she said it. “My daughter’s coming down to take care of the cats. I’m more interested in what’s going on here.” She swiveled her finger between Jackson and I, and I couldn’t help laughing, although it didn’t last long, and then I frowned at Jackson in puzzlement. Jackson moved his mouth like he was about to answer the question and hesitated, too.

Whatwerewe?

He wasn’t my boyfriend, he wasn’t my friend, but saying he was one of three lovers sounded crude.

“I guess…” I started, without knowing how to finish the sentence.
