“We did,” Isaac said, “but he’s going out with Brooke tonight.”

“Oh.” I tried not to let my disappointment show. I knew that Dean needed to spend time with Brooke in public for the publicity, but I’d assumed that he could let his guard down in a car with tinted windows.

Wyatt scrolled through his phone and handed it to me.

“This might have something to do with it.”

He’d loaded a page from a gossip website and as soon as I saw it, my stomach sank. Right there, layered on top of each other, were photographs of me and Dean, me and Wyatt, me and Isaac, and me and Preston. Superimposed over the lower half of the pictures was the headline, in white caps,F*CKING HER WAY TO STARDOM.

“What?” I scrolled through the article, which quoted various unnamed sources, who insisted that the only reason I was cast in the role of Daisy was that I’d slept with Dean, Wyatt, Isaac, and Preston. “Who even took these photos? How?” I passed the phone back to Wyatt. “You know that’s not true.”

Wyatt sipped his drink and said nothing, but Isaac squared his shoulders.

“We think Brooke’s behind this.”

“What about Dean? Is he behind it, too?” I looked from Wyatt to Isaac, as though they’d know more than I did. But instead, they both looked uncomfortable.

“I don’t think so,” Wyatt said. “But when it comes to Hollywood egos, you never know…”

“I’veneverslept with Preston,” I said, wanting to clear my name, even if I could only do it in this car. “I can’t even remember standing next to him for more than five seconds, so I don’t know how this photo exists. And obviously, I’ve never slept with Isaac.”

Isaac gave a start and leaned forward to raise his eyebrows at Wyatt.

“Oh?”

Wyatt smiled sheepishly.

“The other day, in her trailer.”

“Fucking hell. Do I need to supervise you all?”

Even though the champagne was non-alcoholic, the shock from reading that article was making me feel reckless.

“You mean you’d like to watch?”

I held up my glass towards Wyatt so he could clink his glass against mine, but instead he stifled a laugh.

“Kyla, you never stop surprising me.”

I kicked my feet out in front of me.

“Well, if I’m going to become famous for sleeping my way into movie roles, I might as well do it properly.”

Stop it, a voice in my head said.Stop talking right now. But I was on a roll, and I no longer cared what either of these men thought about me.

“Maybe you should both fuck me right here, and we can live stream it on the internet.”

Both men were silent.

Yep, that voice was right. I’d gone too far.

“Sorry,” I mumbled. “I’m just pissed off.”

“What we need to focus on now,” Isaac said, “is what to do about it. And while releasing a sex tape might have been a career booster for certain… ‘celebrities’, I promise it’snotthe answer here.”

“Okay.” I took a deep breath. “What if I do an interview, or get on social media and tellmyside of the story?”

Isaac’s face darkened.
