“I love you too, Angel. You just made me the happiest man alive.” He places a kiss on my lips and everyone descends on us. Wrapping us in their love and support.
Mia and Tessa come running over with tears, giving me a hug. “Girl, we are so happy for you. I can’t wait to help plan this wedding.” Mia says, wiping her eyes.
“I can’t wait for the bachelorette party.” Tessa says loudly, making everyone laugh and Evan to growl at her.
Vivian walks over to me, wiping her eyes, giving us both a hug. “As soon as I saw you, I knew my Evan was going to fall for you. You and Savannah have brightened our lives for the better. I’m so happy for all of you.”
Fresh tears fall down my face. “Thank you Vivian, that means a lot.” I whisper out, my throat clogged with emotions. Evan walks over with Savannah in his arms and pulls me to his side, holding me close.
“Did you like your surprise, momma? I helped Gigi and daddy set it up.” Savannah asks with a big smile on her face.
“I did, baby girl. It was the best surprise ever, thank you.” I give her a hug and kiss and she wiggles down, running to go sit with her aunties.
Evan gathers me in his arms and we just hold each other, basking in our love and happiness. I still can’t believe this is real, but I'm so happy right now. “I love you so much Evan, and I can’t wait to start my forever with you.”
“I love you too, Angel. You and Savannah are my home, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. One lifetime with you isn’t enough. I'm a selfish bastard when it comes to you. Forever is what I want. The day you become Mrs. Brandford will be one of the best days of my life, the day that you will give me another beautiful baby. I want it all with you. If you're okay with it, I want to adopt Savannah. I want her to have my last name because she might not be mine by blood, but she is mine all the same. You raised her for five years alone. Let me help the rest because I made a promise to you that you will never walk alone again. What do you say, Alyssa?”
I can’t believe he wants to adopt my baby girl. I can’t seem to stop these tears from falling down, and I want nothing more than to have another baby with Evan. “Evan, I would love it if you could adopt Savannah. I just don’t know how to get into contact with him to get him to sign his rights over.”
He places a kiss on my lips. “You leave that up to me and I will find him and have the papers drawn up.”
Pulling back to look him in his eyes for what I'm about to say next. “I’m ready now, Evan. I want another baby.”
His eyes get big and I know he is happy with my decision. He slams his lips down on mine, stealing my breath away in a heated kiss. Pulling back, I can see his eyes swimming with tears. He’s never afraid to let his emotions show with me. I watch as one slides down his face. “Fuck, Angel, you just made me so damn happy. I can’t wait for the day you become pregnant. Savannah is going to be an amazing big sister. I want to take you upstairs now and start on making a baby. Do you think people will notice if we are missing for the rest of the night?” Evan growls in my ear, and I can already feel how hard he is for me.
“You can have me later when they leave. Only a few more hours, then I'm yours for the night. Maybe I can even convince the boss to play hookie and he can have me all day tomorrow as well.” I place a kiss on his neck and he shivers against me.
“I'm sure the boss can be convinced. I love you, Alyssa, forever and always.”
“I love you, Evan, forever and always.” He pulls me close and we sway to a song only we can hear and that’s the beat of our hearts beating as one. The love I feel for Evan is something I never knew this hot mess momma would ever have. Life can be scary and beautiful at the same time and you just never know when your chance at happiness is going to come, so don’t let your fear and the unknown rule you. Take chances, fall in love and do it all over again because you only get one life, so live it to the fullest. This hot mess momma did, and she finally found her forever and always.

Peoplemightsaythereis no such thing as a perfect marriage like mine, but it has been pretty damn perfect so far. I have everything I could want and so much more. All my kids are happy and healthy and I got to marry the love of my life who spoils us every day. Evan shows us in the little things how much we mean to him. It has been five amazing years and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Sure, we have our difficulties like any couple, but we have a rule that we always follow that we never go to bed angry. It doesn’t matter if it takes us all night we always work out our problems. We never leave the house without telling each other we love them because life is too short and you just never know when it will be your last. When we love, we love hard, never fearing showing each other how much they mean to us. The day I said I do and became Mrs. Bradford is a day I will never forget. We had our closest friends and family gathered around our backyard as we declared our love for each other. Savannah and I walked down to Evan together, knowing that would be the last time we would ever walk alone. Thinking about that day still brings tears to my eyes as Evan also presented Savannah with a ring of her own, promising her to always be there for her no matter what happens in life. It was also the same day Evan had the adoption papers done and Savannah officially became Savannah Bradford. There wasn’t a dry eye in attendance.
I never once asked how he did it or even how he found him to get him to sign his rights over. I just didn’t want to go down that road again, so I told Evan not to tell me anything about that day. Two months after getting married, we found out I was pregnant with twins, one boy and one girl. After what felt like forever being pregnant, we welcomed our babies into the world. Roman and Callie came out kicking and screaming, making our family complete. It was a big adjustment, having two at the same time, but Evan was with me every step of the way. Vivian was an absolute godsend with helping out and was over almost every day, checking up on all three of her grandbabies. Savannah took on her big sister's role seriously, making sure no one made any noise while they were sleeping, reading them stories and just loving them. Now my babies aren't so much babies anymore. Savannah is now ten years old. The twins are now five. It makes me cry thinking about how fast they have grown. It still seems like yesterday they were born. Savannah has let go of wanting to be a princess and acts as if she is a teenager already, which drives Evan absolutely nuts. To him, she will always be his little princess. She has a larger-than-life personality and I know whatever she does in life, she will go far and nothing will stand in her way. She no longer carries Funny Bunny everywhere, which breaks my heart, but I kept him for when she is older and has her own kids one day, she can pass him down. Callie is my mini me as well. She is the opposite of Savannah. She's so shy and quiet and would rather be in the background, that is, until her protector Roman comes to her side, pulling her out of her shell. All the kids are close, but those two are glued to each other’s side. Roman is so much like Evan it’s not even funny, right down to his protective instincts, which Evan finds funny. He always wants to do what his daddy does. I still work for Bradford Hotels right along with my husband and when we found out I was pregnant, that is when Vivian decided it was time to retire so she could spend all her free time with the kids. The kids just love their Gigi and want to spend all their time with her and papa. Yes, you heard that right. Vivian finally found her own happiness and Jack treats her like the queen that she is. Tessa and Mia even found their forever and if you can believe it, that was the same day Evan and I got engaged. We now have big family dinners with everyone when we can. Everyone deserves to find love and happiness in their lives, and I believe there is someone for everyone.
I’m just putting the finishing touches on my makeup as we are all going out to dinner. Evan says the day we first met is one of the most important days of his life, so he likes to spoil me. I love that he isn’t afraid to show his feelings. Today, as a gift, he surprised me with a spa day with the girls while he took Roman out to a movie. I put the last earring in, slip on my shoes and walk down the stairs towards the living room, knowing Evan and the kids are waiting for me. I can hear Evan and Savannah talking. Well, Evan is growling more than talking, making me roll my eyes because I know this is about Andy. You would think after all these years he would be over the fact that Savannah and Andy are best friends, even though Andy still tells Savannah to this day that they are going to get married one day, which is probably what sets Evan off.
“Daddy, we are going as a group to the movies and, yes, Andy will be there. Besides, momma said I can go already and Andy's mom is going with us.”
Evan turns to look at me, narrowing his eyes and I just give him a sweet smile, knowing I'll be getting it later and I really can’t wait. Evan unleashed is a thing of beauty and it never takes me long to go over the edge. Our sex life is off the charts hot. We can never seem to keep our hands to ourselves. He had his office at work soundproofed for that same reason. Shaking my head out of my lust filled thoughts, I turn to my family. “Is everyone ready to go? We don’t want to be late for dinner.”
Callie and Roman walk over to me, taking my hand. “You look pretty, momma.” Callie say’s in her little voice and Roman nods his head.
“So do you, baby girl. And you look very handsome, Roman.” He is dressed almost like Evan, with a long-sleeved button up and khaki pants, with his hair slicked back like his dad’s. Evan helps Savannah off the couch and I give them a moment to talk heading out of the house with the twins and putting them in the car. A minute later, Evan and Savannah walk out of the house, laughing as if nothing happened.
Savannah walks over, giving me a hug. “I love you, momma.”
My throat clogs with emotions and I will the tears not to fall right now. “I love you too, baby girl.” Evan walks over, wrapping me in his arms from behind, just holding me before we leave for dinner. Being in his arms always feels like the first time. They bring safety and love. “Are you and Savannah okay now?”
“Yeah, we're good. I know she’s no longer the little girl walking around with Funny Bunny, and I think that’s what hurts the most, but she will always be my little princess. Don’t get me wrong, I still don't want her to have a boyfriend, ever, or get married. You and the kids are my entire world and I love you guys so damn much. Without you, I wouldn’t have any of this, so thank you for taking that chance on me all those years ago.” He places a sweet kiss on my lips.
“I love you too Evan, every day with you and the kids is a new adventure I never want to end.” Placing one last kiss on my lips I go to walk away to get into the car when his next words stop me in my tracks making me shiver from head to toe.
“Don’t think for one minute I forgot about you letting her go to the movies with Andy. I hope you're prepared not to get any sleep tonight because once we get home and the kids go to sleep, your ass is mine, Angel.” He growls in my ear, making me instantly wet.
