“I am talking.”

I felt myself moving backward until the back of my thighs pressed into his cool wooden desk. I stiffened as he leaned into me, his face hovering a mere inch over mine.

“Intimidation tactics don’t work with you,” he mused, running one hand up the outside of my arm until it cupped my face. Then, it dipped lower until the strong, capable hand held my throat. “You seem tolikeitwhen I hold you like this.”

I only gasped as heat flooded me. Not the heat of fear or anger, but a different, more consuming one.

“I want to know why you don’t come up on any searches,” he told me, his eyes hardening.

I pressed harder into him, leaning into his hand to show precisely how much it didn’t scare me. My breath caught at the increased pressure, but I didn’t allow myself to react. I only needed to distract him. I needed to be here just a little bit longer. “There’s nothing to tell you. I don’t know why you can’t find any information on me.”

“I think you’re lying.”

I shrugged before pressing my mouth into his and running a tongue over his bottom lip.

“Then show me what you do to liars.”

It was as much his undoing as mine. In a matter of seconds, he had me turned around and pressed into his desk. His body held mine in place, and his hand held one of mine to the desk as he tugged my pants down roughly.

“No panties?” he mused, slapping my ass hard enough that I knew there would be a handprint there.

I couldn’t stop the moan that erupted from my lips.

“I didn’t think I’d need any the next time I saw you.”

The sound that came from the back of his throat was animalistic as he undid his own pants and slipped his length between my thighs. The pressure of that hard length nearly unraveled me.

“If you’re going to make me beg for it this time, I’m not—”

He cut me off immediately as he slipped back and plunged into me. Stars erupted in my vision as the soreness from the night before melted into something deeper and richer.

“I don’t plan on making a game of this right now, Stellina.”

He pushed me deeper into his desk as he thrust back and slammed into me. Last night, it may have hurt, but the pain became something more erotic and sensual today. It was expected and welcomed as he moved in and out of me, growing the pleasure that came from each motion.

One of his hands wound in my hair and pulled my head back as the other moved around my clit.

I rocked back into him greedily, taking in every ounce of what he offered. This may have been a way to distract him, and I may have been manipulating him, but none of that mattered as I quickly came apart beneath his capable hands.

Nothing else mattered as his hand wrapped around my mouth, silencing the screams that erupted from me as I exploded.

Nothing else would matter until after we’d finished here, and by then, I doubted he’d continue questioning me.

All that mattered right now wasus.

I sat on the leather sofa, an ankle crossed over my knee as I nursed a cigar between my fingers. The smell was earthier than my usual preferences, but the smoke that wafted around us had a rich scent. These would do nicely, especially as Fiona sat in an office chair across from me, closing her eyes and taking in the smoke of her chocolate-scented cigar.

“I tend to prefer mine sweeter,” she said, releasing a puff of smoke and nodding in approval.

I nodded, not giving her an inkling about my preferences. She was, after all, an employee. We could smoke cigars in my office as if we were longtime friends. And I’d temper her relentless flirtation, but I wouldn’t give her more than that, especially not after having Sienna in the way I’d been most craving her.

“What can you tell me about all the new hires?”

She opened a tablet with her manicured fingers and straightened her posture. “We have seven relatively new hires. Six of them are out of training and taking clients. I believe all of them were personally indebted to you.”
