“But if I go, I might be able to find where their clubhouse is. Count how many men they have. Find Adam.”

“And if they find out you’re a King, you’ll end up cold and in pieces,” I hiss, and Titch shrugs.

“I’m not one of you yet. I don’t have the ink. They won’t recognize me. It could be our one and only chance to get the information we need to take them out once and for all.”

The room falls silent as each man around the table considers Titch’s words.

“Thanks, Titch. That will be all.” Rocco dismisses our prospect, and he nods before turning and leaving.

“What do you think?” Gunner asks our Prez, and Rocco sits back in his seat and lights up a smoke.

“It could work.”

“It also might fucking backfire,” I state, and Rocco nods.

“Yes. That could happen too.”

“We could try to put a tracker on him or something. Track him and have a team nearby so we can go in blazing if they make him.” Slasher offers and Rocco nods.

“Yeah, that might work too. I’ll need to think on it.”

“Is that all we needed to go over?” I ask, and the men chuckle.

“What’s wrong, Gray? Your dick gonna drop off if you don’t sink it into your girl?” Doug asks, and I glare at him, which only makes him laugh harder.

“Church is closed.” Rocco declares, slamming his fist on the table. “Go get balls deep in your girl.”

With a shit-eating grin, I nod. “I won’t even feel bad for you fuckers.”

“Prick.” Stretch mutters and I chuckle, pushing through them as we all try to walk out the door at the same fucking time, and I don’t even apologize.

My need to get to Zoe and claim her is like needing to fucking breathe.

Zoe

“Icangobymyself,” I huff.

When both Rocco and Grayson shake their heads, I throw my hands up in the air in pure exasperation. Fucking assholes.

Taking a deep breath, I compose myself. “I can’t walk in there with two bikers in tow. That will look suspicious, and Graham might refuse to give me any money.”

The looks Gray and Rocco exchange are enough to let me know they’re finally seeing it my way—the only way that makes sense.

“So what are you suggesting?” Rocco asks. If his tone didn’t give it away, the look on his face as he crosses his arms over his chest and stares me down is enough to let me know he’s barely tolerating me right now.

“I’ll go alone,” I say, determination coating my words.

Neither of them look too happy about that. In fact, Gray looks like he’s seconds from reaching the end of his tether, which would probably end with him growling something unhelpful.

“Or,” I say, holding up a finger to stop them from interrupting. “I can take Alana with me.”

Gray discreetly shakes his head, and I know it’s because he doesn’t trust the Cruz Cunt with my safety. I do, though, and this isn’t about him.

“Okay,” Rocco relents. “But you’ll go straight there and back again. No other stops. And take a gun.”

I try to hide my trembling hands at the mention of a firearm. Every time a gun is as much as mentioned, the attack comes to the forefront of my mind. Just like when Gray shot his fucking gun in the main room, there’s no stopping the terror running down my spine, spreading through my bloodstream like poison.

After wiping my clammy palms on my shorts. Since this is the best deal I’m going to get, I nod sharply. “Okay, but—”
