“So what are you up to, Teach? In the mood for some company?”

I hated to dampen his spirits, but I had no choice, especially after that whole doubt fest I’d had before falling asleep. Sean and I had a taste of each other, but hard boundaries needed to be set to reveal the true nature of what he felt for me.

“Four weeks, Sean.”

“Come on!” he whined, and my hands itched to redden his backside again. “You know you don’t want to wait. Tell me the thought of my hot ass swallowing your dick doesn’t turn you on.”

His mouth…

I shook my head, eyes closing.

“Hell, I’d be content to choke on your dick while jerking off. I need this, Matteo.”

This, not me.

“Four weeks,” I reiterated, standing firm to protect myself. I’d rather have spilled my feelings, how I’d come to the conclusion losing him would kill my desire to live, but that would only encourage him. He would show up on my doorstep uninvited and manipulate his way beneath my skin.

Arousal slid through my veins, but I held firm even as Sean continued to talk me into letting him sit on my cock and lick into my mouth.

“Sean,” I cut him off mid-sentence about riding me reverse cowboy so he could play with my balls while bouncing on my dick. “If what we shared is important to you, if I mean anything to you more than a way to find release, please honor my request. Please,” I begged, the images in my head he’d painted so vivid I ached for release.

Sean sighed with exaggerated annoyance but stopped his sexual chatter. “You aren’t going to give in just to shut me up?”

“No.”

“Have I told you how much I adore your sturdiness, Matteo? How much I crave to be put in my place from someone who won’t take my shit even though I really, really want you to fuck me right now?”

My cock bucked in my sleep pants, and I squeezed the base to calm myself down.

“Four weeks is a long time, Teach,” Sean muttered. “I already feel like I have carpal tunnel. Masturbating is so boring.”

He hadn’t been escorting for just a few weeks, and already he’d grown tired of his hand.

That fear about him doing the same with me returned full force, sending a pang through my chest.

“It’s late, Sean.”

“Want to have a jerk-off sesh over the phone?”

Goddamn him. “No—I have an early class in the morning, and if I remember correctly, you have an essay due.”

“Fuck,” he grumbled. “Fine.”

“I’ll see you Monday in class.”

“Yeah, yeah.” He sounded like an annoyed kid who needed his ass reddened.

“You can do this, Sean. I have faith in you.”

I could sense him perking up through the line, could see his loopy grin over my words of praise.

If only I had faith in the foundation we’d created and our connection wouldn’t fizzle out once sated.

Chapter 28

Sean

Talk about a fucking emotional roller coaster. Zerig landed his ass in jail but not before doing what he’d promised. Micah seemed chill about our ability to get the anchor and past client of Elite his promotion, so I tried not to focus on the what-ifs. At least the stress had lessened, and antacids worked a little better at calming my insides. Giving up that third and fourth cup of coffee every day helped too.
