I actually decided I need to get out of the house. Be there in five.
Me

Willa
Aww! Barf!
“Where are you going?” I ask as I watch Belle run by.
“To put my clothes back on. I love my brother and my friends, but they don’t need to see me mostly naked.”
I groan and stare at the ceiling. I wanted a quiet morning with my girl. Now I’m about to have a loud one with the idiots I’ve chosen as my family. I’m annoyed at that thought making me smile.

“Okay.We’re all here. What did you want to talk to us about?” Cal asks from his spot on the couch between Mav and Willa. All three are looking at Kai and me expectantly.
“I didn’t invite you here, and I already told you everything,” Kai says, sounding annoyed. I know he secretly loves when we’re all together, though. You can see it in his relaxed body language and the smirk he’s trying so hard to keep off his face.
“Right. Well, after you called me last night, I started researching private investigators —” Willa starts, but Cal scoffs, interrupting her.
“Willa knew? How come she got to know, and I didn’t?” he whines.
