I push on their chests until they move far enough back for me to close the door. Then, I take a deep breath that doesn't feel deepenough and pee on a stick that's going to determine so much. A tiny hourglass appears on the test as I put the cap back on the end. By the time I'm washing my hands, a countdown has begun. I open the door to find them in the exact same spots as before.

"Three minutes," I tell them. "And I guess as good a way to pass the time as any is to bring something up that I've been considering today." At their silence, I continue. "I was talking to the officiant, and maybe he was just advertising his services or maybe he saw us together at the rehearsal yesterday, but he ended up telling me that he offers a commitment ceremony for couples who can't legally get married...and that he has an opening to perform one on Sunday."

Neither of them says a word. I widen my eyes, waiting, urging one of them to speak.

Jeremiah shrugs. "I'm just waiting for you to tell me the time."

"And I'm waiting to hear if you guys wanna do the ceremony at all," I point out.

"Why wouldn't we?" Ezekiel inquires.

I groan. "Both of you really infuriate me sometimes. Maybe you don't think it necessary. Maybe you wouldn't wanna do it because you don’t think it's fair other people get to legally marry. Maybe you think it's too soon for anything like that. I don't freaking know. That's why I'm asking."

"First of all," Ezekiel begins, "if it's important enough for you to bring up, especially right now, then clearly it's something you want. And that's all I need to know about it for me to want it too. Secondly, I don't care that it's not legal because you're ours and anyone who would try to tell me differently wouldn't have teeth for long. Thirdly, nothing in this world could ever make me turn down a chance to hear you telling me and Jer that you want us forever."

I smile and he brings his lips to mine. Then, my gaze drifts to Jeremiah.

"I'm usually the one with the best words, but I really can't say it any better than Zek did just now. So, you tell us when and, well, what to wear, and we'll be the sexy guys waiting at the end of the aisle. Or whatever you do for the ceremony."

"Well, that was easy." I quietly chuckle, a weight off my shoulders, replaced with happiness rushing through me. "I just wanted to ask you guys before we see the test. I didn't want you thinking a positive test was pushing me towards anything.

"Neither of us would have thought that," Jeremiah says, and then he smirks. "I mean, come on. It's not like you're getting rid of us anyway."

"It has to have been three minutes," Ezekiel states.

I nod and walk back into the bathroom, rushing for the test because I know they'll both try and beat me to it.

"Ha!" I exclaim right as Ezekiel tries to reach around me and Jeremiah's hands go to my waist to try and stop me. "I knew you would—"

My words cut off as I see the single word on the small screen.Pregnant. My mouth hangs open in shock. At the possibility that just became a reality. At the future suddenly changing in an instant. At the happiness filling me.

"Looks like it says hell yes to me," Ezekiel says, his lips against my neck before he presses a kiss to it.

Jeremiah's hands move around me until they settle on my stomach. "So, should I start talking to the baby now, telling him who the fun dad will be?"

"He?" I ask. "So sure it's a boy already?"

"I have a feeling I’m right.”

"Pretty easy to be right when the odds are fifty-fifty." I chuckle, then sigh. "Oh my God. I can't believe it."

"Believe it," Ezekiel states. "And believe that you have a third wedding to plan."

"And believe that we're all about to damn near lose our hearing with how loud our mothers are about to scream into the phone," Jeremiah jokes.

Come to find out, when we do call and tell them in the morning, he's not wrong.

Chapter 15

A week later though, they're utterly silent as they look at me in my dress. I'd walked into the bridal showroom with Sophie, Charlotte, my mother, Kellie, and Ezekiel and Jeremiah's mother, Brianne, searching for a simple knee-length dress. Nothing too fancy. But then, the owner had showed me a champagne-colored dress with thin straps, a V-neck, elaborate, beautiful rose gold sequin designs covering it, with a mermaid bodice and a short train at the bottom. The moment I saw myself in the mirror, I knew it was my dress. A promise from Sophie to wear one of their dresses to the next gala, and they'd agreed to do the alterations that day. Slipping into the dress today, hair and make-up done, rose gold necklace and bracelet on, I look even more beautiful than when I first wore it. And the way my mother and theirs stares at me now, tears filling their eyes, Sophie and Charlotte looking like they're just as much on the verge of crying, makes me that much surer that I made the right choice.

"Just...beautiful," my mother finally says, then sniffles.

"Thank you." I smile. "Let's hope Jer and Zek agree."

"Oh," Brianne scoffs. "You don't need to worry about that in the least."

I look at Sophie. "Can you ask—"
