"Only to everyone else but you."

His soft words catch me off guard. Just like waking up to him kissing along my cheek this morning, and him feeding me almost all of my breakfast. But I find I like it a lot. Almost as much as his rough side. Almost.

"We're here," he says.

But instead of looking out the window, I glance at him, curious about the nervousness I hear in his voice. His Adam's apple bobs with his swallow, and he looks at me with hope. But for what? Brows furrowed, I look out the windshield, at a beautiful, large dark blue house. And then I understand. I look back at him as he begins speaking.

"You let me into your world, introduced me to the people you love most, even if we didn't exactly know what we were when you did."

"I knew what you were to me. Even then."

He gives me a small smile and nods. "At least one of us was smart enough to know."

"As long as you know now."

"Without a doubt."

"Don't forget again." I smirk.

"Never."

I look back out the window. "So, this is your house?"

"I'd like it to be our house?"

"What?" My head whips around.

"I know it's early, and we only just got back together, but I also know I don't want any more nights without you, or to wake up to any more mornings without you in my arms. We have a lot to learn, and a lot of room to grow, but I also don't want to miss a moment with you. I've missed enough."

Tears prickle at the bridge of my nose. "You want me to move in?"

"Immediately."

I chuckle bursts out of me, and before I can let my mind overpower my heart, before I can think of all the reasons to say no, I say, "Yes."

His eyes widen. "You're serious, right?"

I nod. "After Charlotte has recovered, though. She'll need a lot of help for the next few weeks. But that'll give you time to come over and pack my stuff."

"Oh, I'm packing?"

"Hey, you're the one who wants to get me over here, so, yup."

"I'll pack every single thing, then."

"Alright, show me my future house."

I get out of the car, and we walk together to the door. He begins to put the key in the doorknob but pauses and hands it to me. The door opens to a large entryway, a huge chandelier hanging overhead.

"I really do keep forgetting that you own an entire hospital, and that you're richer than I assumed."

"The hospital board would like to forget that too." He chuckles.

"What do you mean?" I ask as we enter a living room that feels like it's never actually used. What a pity because the furniture, the paintings, shit, even the flooring is beautiful.

"They feel I'm too inexperienced for the job, too young. But my father left his businesses to me in his will so there's not much they can do to me short of making me sell it to them. And that's not happening, so."

"Just what do you own?"
