“Nice to meet you.I’m Carlee.”

“I’m Ivy.”

Harper waved back. The women were beautiful, but they had an innocence about them she immediately felt connected to.Ivy was in a frilly pastel dress with lace ankle socks and a pair of Mary Janes, while Carlee was in a panda-bear onesie. She instantly felt comfortable with these women.

“Nice to meet you.”

Remi clapped her hands.“Should we get started? We can all go into the playroom.I chose the book for this round so I have paperback copies for each of us.”

The other women nodded and turned toward an open room lined with bookshelves. There were also several toy boxes along with some overstuffed chairs. Her Little side was jumping up and down over how cool the space was, but her adult side smiled and sat in one of the chairs while trying to ignore the toy boxes.

She could see Levi from where she was sitting since the room was basically an alcove off the main room.He was still staring at her as though he were trying to figure out a puzzle. When he noticed her looking, his gaze softened, and he offered her a gentle smile. All of this was so out of her comfort zone. When she’d left the bakery this afternoon, she’d thought she was going to some generic book club at a store or library or something. The last place she thought she’d be was an MC clubhouse with a bunch of tatted-up bikers and three women who seemed excited to have her there.Life was weird sometimes.

“The book I chose this week is calledHaylee’s Hero Daddy,” Remi said, holding up four books.

Harper’s eyes widened, and she started coughing.Had she heard right?

Carlee smiled and patted her on the back.“You didn’t know we were Littles, did you?”

She gaped at the woman.

“Doc said he was pretty sure you were Little. When I came into the bakery, I knew without a doubt. You are, aren’t you?”Remi asked.

With a slow nod, Harper looked across the clubhouse at Levi, who was watching her intently.

“He’s a Daddy, you know.A good one,” Ivy said.

“One of the best there is,” Carlee added.“Even if he does tell our Daddies to give us enemas when we’re not feeling well.”

Cheese and rice.

What alternative world had she fallen into, and when was she going to wake up from this dream?

“Dude, what the fuck did your Little girl do?”

Kade barked out a laugh.“I have no idea.Did you tell her about Harper?”

Doc thought about it for a second.“No, but the brat must have been eavesdropping the other night when I was talking to Gabriel.”

Steele, the club president, chuckled.“Sounds like something she would do.”

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t keep himself from watching Harper as she sat with the other women and talked. They were being quiet, so Doc couldn’t hear what they were saying, but when Harper turned to look at him with her mouth hanging open, he had a feeling the girls had dropped some kind of information bomb on her.

He wanted to go to her, scoop her up in his arms, and take her to his suite so he could have her all to himself for the night. It wasn’t about sex. There was something about her that called to him.A vulnerability he wanted to protect.

“She seems sweet.Scared of her own shadow, though,” Bear murmured.

“Her ex was abusive. That’s why she moved here,” Doc replied.

Steele studied the group of women as he ran his hand over his chin.“We’ll protect her.Whatever you need, just let us know.”

Doc placed a hand on his president’s shoulder.“Thanks, man.I appreciate it.”

When he’d first gotten out of the military, getting used to civilian life had been difficult.Steele had invited him to the MC, and ever since, Doc had found the family he’d never had.All the men had helped him readjust to regular life, and in return, he’d become the club medic. He’d never be able to repay these men for helping to give him his life back.
