We laughed.

I helped the stylist as she finished up Everly’s hair, and then I took care of anything Everly needed while they started and finished her makeup. She was glowing, her dress a light gauzy mermaid that hugged her curves and cascaded in waves of lace that came out at the knees. Her shoulders were exposed, the thin sleeves falling naturally around her biceps. She wore a simple gold chain and earrings, her hair in a simple updo twisted bun.

She was exquisite, and I knew the second Skull laid eyes on her, he would fall in love with her all over again.

When it was time, I walked down the aisle ahead of Everly, holding a simple white rose, with my eyes locked on Koah, who was standing beside Skull along with Joker and Crow. All of them were wearing dark slacks and button-up shirts—all with their sleeves rolled up, showing their bad boy tattoos. They were gorgeous—all four of them.

I grinned at Koah, and he swallowed, his eyes thoughtful as they took me in from head to toe. I never knew I could love someone so much, but I did, and I couldn’t wait until I was in my wedding dress, taking the aisle toward him for our wedding.

I touched Skull’s hand when I reached the hand-carved archway that Everly’s brother made, and then I stepped to the side and turned to see the moment she came down the aisle.

When she appeared, everyone in the room stood, and instead of watching her the way I thought I would, my eyes went to Skull. His green eyes blazed, a love light shining in them so bright it made my chest ache with love. His eyes filled with tears, and he swiped at them, unashamed to show emotion for the woman he loved. It was such a beautiful moment, and I was thankful I was there to share it with two of the people I cared the most about.

THE RECEPTION was in the same building in a separate bigger room next door to the where the ceremony was held. Everly, me, and the guys had spent two days before the wedding decorating the space, making sure the tables were set up and the centerpieces were perfect.

The cake table was set up on the side, their beautiful three-layer wedding cake with a couple on a motorcycle as their topper, stood tall, waiting for them to cut it and smash the cake in each other’s faces.

The place smelled of fresh flowers and delicious food, courtesy of a catering company from a beautiful place in the center of Atlanta. I took a glass of champagne from a passing server and leaned against Koah as we watched Skull and Everly dance their first dance as a married couple in the center of the dance floor.

Everyone ate and drank, dancing to the music I had helped pick out, and when Skull and Everly cut their cake, she smashed her piece in his face while he delicately fed her his slice, making the crowd laugh. They were entirely too cute together.

Later, as we sat at the bridal party table and chatted, I sipped champagne, feeling a buzz take over, and leaned against Koah. It wasn’t until then that I noticed Everly had yet to have a drink, instead opting for a glass of water.

“Why aren’t you drinking champagne and celebrating, woman?” I asked, lifting my glass to take a long sip of the bubbly.

She looked at her waist and grinned before touching her flat stomach. Shock ran through me, and I gasped before reaching out and taking her hands.

“Are you?” I asked, so filled with excitement I could barely stand it.

She nodded, biting her bottom lip and glowing in a way only a woman growing a beautiful life could glow.

I pulled her into a hug, and tears sprang to my eyes. I was so happy for my best friends, and I couldn’t wait until the little ball of perfection I knew I would spoil silly joined our little crew.

Koah, Joker, Crow, and Skull hugged it out, each congratulating Skull for the marriage and the new bundle of joy that was coming. Before long, it was time for the newlyweds to leave and head off to their honeymoon at a secluded cabin resort in the Tennessee mountains.

The crowd moved outside to where Skull’s bike was parked. The guys had added cans to the back of it that were sure to get pulled off immediately and blew up condoms that were attached to the rims of the tires.

Everly had changed out of her wedding dress and was wearing a pair of tight jeans and a cute white top, her bouquet of white and lavender roses in her grasp. Skull lifted her and put her on the back of the bike, making the crowd cheer for them, and when he cranked the loud engine, making the loud sound echo all around us.

They pulled out, his engine roaring through the night with her hair coming out of its pins and flying wildly around her face. They were beautiful.

“That’s going to be us one day, you know?” Koah whispered in my ear, his large hand resting against my stomach.

I smiled, keeping my eyes on Everly and Skull as they rode away.

“One day,” I said, placing my hand over his.

I knew the second he asked, I would say yes because nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with Koah Saint, my bad-boy biker with a heart of gold and a smile that could melt me on the spot.

Epilogue 1

Tori: Four Months Later

“Babe, areyoualmostready? We’re going to be late.” Koah peeked his head into the master bathroom and grinned at my naked ass.

“No,” I said, holding up my finger. “If you start with that, we really will be late. Give me five more minutes.”

I dressed quickly, his eyes devouring me the entire time. Once I was ready, we locked up our tiny house on the nicer side of Atlanta, and Koah held the door to his new Mustang open for me to get in. We were doing fantastic financially between our two incomes, and life was good.
