Once I sat in the seat, he buckled me in, his lips skimming my jaw before he leaned back and closed the passenger door. He moved around the front of the car and grinned at me, knowing I was watching him. The man made me crazy. No matter how often we went at it, it was never enough. I was insatiable when it came to him, and he loved every second of it.

The drive across town didn’t take long, and when we pulled up at Crow’s place, we were welcomed by a horde of bikes, trucks, and cars, all there for the gender reveal party for Skull and Everly.

Koah’s eyes floated over the bikes, longing in his gaze, and I pretended I didn’t notice. I had mentioned him getting another bike, but he said it wasn’t something we needed. We could afford it, but he said we had better things to spend our money on.

I knew he wanted another one, and I hoped that one day I could surprise him and get him a new bike. It would be hard, considering I still had anxiety when I thought of getting on another motorcycle, but Koah did everything he could to make me happy. I would do the same for him.

Koah grabbed my hand and pulled it up and into a kiss. I cupped his cheek, loving him more every day we were together.

Once everyone was there, Koah and I stood next to Joker, Skull, and Everly and watched as Crow moved across the front yard to his bike, parked on the road in front of his house. Crow climbed onto his motorcycle and cranked it, the engine roaring. I squeezed Koah’s hand, knowing he was missing that sound.

Crow backed his black and teal beast until his back tire was located where he wanted it, and once the crowd counted down from five, he pushed hard on the engine without moving, spinning his back wheel until a cloud of bright pink dusted the air behind him. The crowd went wild, and Skull scooped Everly into his arms and kissed her. I cried, and Koah pulled me into his arms and kissed the top of my head.

A little girl.

They were going to have the sweetest baby girl ever. With so much testosterone swimming around Everly and me, it was going to be nice to have another girl with us.

Afterward, everyone moved to the backyard, where Crow had cleaned the place up and had tables lined with barbecue and all the fixings. We each made a plate, and everyone sat and ate, chatting about the future baby and how happy we were for Skull and Everly.

When it was almost time for everyone to leave, Koah and I grabbed trash bags and helped Joker and Crow clean.

“Hey, Tori, can we talk to you for a second,” Everly asked.

She was glowing, her stomach round, and her cheeks flushed. Every time Skull looked at her, it was apparent he was obsessed … as he should be. She was damn near the perfect woman, and I loved her. She would never replace Gracie and never tried to, but she was slowly becoming like a sister to me.

“Yeah, sure. What’s up?” I asked as she pulled me to the side.

We sat at a table that was still set up, and I waited worriedly. Everly looked nervous, and Skull seemed a little out of sorts. It was such a happy day, so I hoped nothing was wrong.

“You know we love you, right?” she asked.

I nodded, swallowing against the surge of nerves slowly peaking. “Yes. Is something wrong?”

She shook her head, placing a hand on my knee. “Oh no, we just have a question for you.”

“Oh, okay,” I said in relief, covering my chest with my palm. “Go ahead and ask.”

She reached out, took my hands, and smiled softly at me.

“Would it be okay if we named the baby Gracie?”

Tears flooded my eyes before rushing down my cheeks. I wiped at them, but it was useless.

“We know how much you’re going to love this baby,” she said, covering her growing stomach. “And we want to honor your sister and you in the best way we can think of.”

I nodded, a fresh rush of tears escaping. “I will love her with all my heart no matter what you name her, but I would be truly honored if you named her after my sister.”

Everly pulled me into a hug just as Koah reached our side.

I missed my sister more than I could ever put into words, but I was grateful to have a loving boyfriend while being surrounded by the most loving and loyal family I could ask for. And when baby Gracie finally made her way into the world, I knew I would love her as if she were my own.

Epilogue 2

Saint: One Year Later

Thescenewasperfect. The smell of smoke and gasoline filled the night air as I was surrounded by people I knew, respected, and loved. My little family surrounded me, eating cake and drinking alcohol, a terrible combination, celebrating me.

“Happy birthday, bro,” Joker said, pulling me into a hug, his icy eyes glazed over.
