My cheeks heat, and I shift my legs to tighten my thighs together.“Behave.”

“What is the fun in that?”he winks.

This man has some kind of hold on me, and I hope he never lets go.I would never survive another loss.

“There is the happy couple,” Foster cheers.

“We were wondering if you guys would even make it to the party,” Cutter teases.

“Ha ha,” I say with a smile.

With our hands still linked, I pull Griffin over toward the food because my stomach is growling.“I hope Becca didn’t spend all morning cooking,” she says.

“I think she catered all this in.”

“Good.I wouldn’t want her to go through that kind of trouble.”

Thank God I have Griffin by my side because things are not the same without my bestie here.I miss her terribly and hate that I stormed out the way I did.Maybe I can send a flower arrangement or candy to cheer her up.

Griffin bumps my hip with his.“You alright?”

I smile.“Yeah.I’m just starving,” I pile food on my plate, and we find a seat at a picnic table.

“I go grab a couple of beers,” Griffins says.

“Hey you,” Becca says, taking a seat next to me.

“Hey.”

“You look so pretty in that dress.”

“Oh.Thank you.”

“I heard all about that ring but didn’t get a chance to see it last night,” she says, reaching for my hand.

“It was Griffin’s mother’s ring.”

“Well, it is stunning, and I’m so happy for you both.We finally have something to celebrate.”

“Thanks, Becca.”

“And if you need any help with the wedding planning, I am here to help.I mean it.We are family.”

My heart swells.“Well, I will definitely hold you to that,” I smile wide.

She is right, I had no family of my own to help with anything, let alone a wedding. But the people here, right now, are my family.

Griffin’s infectious laugh brings me out of my thoughts. He’s talking to Foster, who is the jokester of the guys.Lock joins them a moment later, and they clink their beers.I can’t help but stare at the gorgeousness of Griffin. He must sense me watching because he turns his head and locks his gaze with mine.He nods to the guys and makes his way back over to me, handing me a beer.

“Thank you,” I lean in to kiss his lips.

“Anytime, babe.”

“I fucking love you,” I squeeze his thigh.

“I fucking love you, babe.”

“All right, get a room, you lovebirds,” Lock teases as he sits across from us.
