I couldn’t say anything because she was right.
“Babe, I love you so much, and we can’t tell anyone, okay?” I wrapped my arms around her.

“Thank you.” I smiled as I kissed her lips. “Let’s get the twins in the car.
I grabbed Stella’s car seat and put it in the back of Jenni’s car while she put in Sawyer’s.
“Have fun at your mom’s house.” I kissed her one last time before she climbed into the car. “I love you.”
“We will. I love you too.”
I began to walk away and heard her shout.
“Because you didn’t trust me, you’re cut off. Two weeks, Kind. Two weeks.”
I turned around and smiled at her.
“You are so hot when you threaten me.” I grinned.
“Two weeks!” she shouted as she pulled out of the driveway.
I chuckled, went inside the house, grabbed a couple of beers, and headed down to the beach.
“What’s up, bro?” Sebastian fist-bumped me when I sat next to him.
“Did Jenni leave for her parents’ house?” Sam asked as he had Elijah strapped on him.
“Yeah. I take it Julia did, too?” I smirked.
“She left about fifteen minutes ago with the girls.”
My other brothers and cousins walked over and sat down.
“I talked to my guys earlier, and they plan on finishing the house by mid-next week,” Stefan said. “Which is ahead of schedule.” He pointed at me.
“Thanks, bro. I appreciate it. And just in time,” I said.
“In time for what?” Simon asked.
“I have someone interested and wants to Airbnb it as soon as possible.”
“Who?” Gabriel glanced at me.
“I don’t know. My company is handling it.”
“How does this person even know about it?” Conner asked.
“I’ve been advertising.” I smirked. “I have to capitalize on my investment as quickly as possible.” I smiled.
“It sucks that my brother doesn’t want to move here,” Gabriel said. “It would have been the perfect house for him.”
“Yeah.” Grayson shook his head. “We’re his family. He belongs here with us.”
“I get that,” I said. “But he has a life and company in North Carolina.”
