“Thanks, Zoey.”

“I should get going.” She grabbed her purse.

“Excuse me,” I said as I walked over and took her purse. “You’re not going anywhere. The party is just getting started.”

“What party?”

“Down at the beach,” Sam said.

“You’ll love it, and the girls will want you to join us.” Shaun smiled.

“Okay. I’ll stay for a while. I never turn down a good party.” A beautiful smile crossed her lips.

“You can keep your purse at my house. I’m going to grab my guitar and a few beers. We’ll meet you guys down there,” I said as Zoey and I walked out the sliding door.

“You play the guitar?” she asked as we headed back to my house.

“Yeah.” I smiled. “I sing, too. I’ve been told I’m pretty good.”

“So what do you guys do? Sit on the beach, drink, and play the guitar?”

“Basically.” I chuckled as I opened the sliding door, and we stepped inside. “I’ll be right back.” I ran up the stairs to grab my guitar.

I was happy she decided to stay. With any luck, I’d get her into my bed tonight and experience more of her beautiful body. After grabbing my guitar, I took it downstairs and handed it to her.

“Can you hold this for me while I grab some beer?”

“Sure.”

I grabbed a few beers, set them on the island, and pulled out my phone, sending a text in our group chat.

“Bring the amplifier out.”

“Awesome. Will do,” Sam replied.

“Ready?” I smiled at Zoey as I grabbed the bottles of beer.

We walked down the beach where the bonfire was burning brightly. My brothers, cousins, and the girls were already there, talking and laughing.

“I’m so happy you’re staying.” Jenni hugged Zoey.

“I hear you guys throw one hell of a party out here, so I wanted to check it out for myself.” Zoey grinned.

I smiled at her as I took my guitar from its case and plugged it into the amp.

“What are you playing?” Simon asked.”

“You’ll see,” I said as I started strumming the chords and singing More Than A Feeling.

“Fuck yeah! That’s one of my favorite songs.” Conner pointed at me.

As I sang, Zoey sat beside me with a beautiful smile while she sipped her beer. Strumming the last chord, everyone shouted and clapped.

“Thank you. Thank you.” I stood up and took a bow.

“Shit. I think he can hit higher notes than Shaun.” Simon laughed.

“Shut up, douchebag.” Shaun flung a bottle cap at him.
