“Sebastian is bringing the pizzas and salads,” I told her.

“Make sure to get bread and cherry butter. I’ve been craving it so bad.”

“I will. I love you. I’ll see you later.”

“I love you too.” She smiled as she climbed out of the car and went inside the bakery.

After work, I stepped inside the bakery and entered the kitchen, where Zoey was putting the last cupcakes in the box.

“Are these ready to be taken to the car?” I asked as I kissed her and then her belly.

“Yes. Did you tell Sebastian about the bread and cherry butter?”

“Is that all you’ve been thinking about all day?” I smirked.

“Yes.” Her brows furrowed. “Did you or didn’t you?”

“Of course I did, my hormonal pregnant wife.” I smiled as I grabbed the box of cupcakes. “Let’s go home.”

I was starving since I didn’t have lunch today, and when I opened the pantry to grab a can of pineapple, I saw there wasn’t any. I could have sworn I had two cans in there. I would put money on it that Zoey got rid of them. Shaking my head, I opened the freezer and took out a pint of Ben and Jerry’s. This would do for now until Sebastian arrived with the food.

“What are you doing?” Zoey stopped and stared at me when she walked into the kitchen.

“Eating your ice cream because I’m hungry, and my canned pineapple disappeared.”

“Oh no, you don’t.” She took it from my hand, put the lid back on, and placed it in the freezer. “That’s the last pint.”

“You’re seriously not going to share your ice cream with your husband?” My brow arched. “And what did you do with my canned pineapple?”

“I donated them to the food drive at Riley’s school. She’s helping with it.”

“You couldn’t donate something else?”

“I donated a few other things. And as for my last pint of ice cream, no, I’m not sharing.”

“Wow, Zoey. You’re mean.”

“Am I?” She smirked as she opened the refrigerator and pulled out a container of fresh pineapple.

“Is that?—”

“Yep.” She held it up in the air. “I bought it for you yesterday. I can’t believe you didn’t see it in the fridge. But since I’m so mean, you can’t have it.”

“Hand over the pineapple, Zoey.”

“Nope.” She popped her lips. “Not until you apologize.”

“I’m sorry, baby. You’re not mean. I’m just hangry. Forgive me. Please. I love you.”

“Okay. Here.” She smiled as she handed me the container of pineapple. “And I love you too, you big pineapple dummy.” She kissed my lips.

After everyone came over and we ate pizza and salad, Zoey and I handed out the cupcakes.

“The color of the filling inside is the sex of our baby.” Zoey grinned. “On the count of the three, everyone take a bite. One. Two. Three!”

Everyone took a bite and looked inside.

“It’s a girl!” Grayson exclaimed. “Now, I’ll have two nieces.”
