“You like my outfit?”

The material bunched under my hands, and I couldn’t believe she’d pulled off that particular surprise. “Where did you find a jersey?”

“I bought it off a girl two rows back. Might as well make Dad’s money useful one more time. I’m so proud of you. Did you talk to Archer?”

I gave her ass a light smack, since I could. “When were you going to tell me you knew Archer Bolme?”

A gleam of amusement lit her eyes. “It’s complicated. He’s sort of dating my friend’s mom, who I might have helped recently become single. I’m rooting for him.”

“He wants to talk tomorrow—to make sure Dallas is my future.”

She squealed and bounced a little, waking up my dick despite the very public setting. “I’m glad you got to play. Are you ready to go home? I haveplansfor you.”

I chuckled and ran my nose along hers. “Because you love me.”

Eva’s smile softened. “Because I love you.” Her voice lowered to a husky rasp. “And because I’ve been fantasizing about ripping that tux off you since you showed up earlier.”

I’d never get enough of her. Her sassy mouth and her big heart and her ice blue eyes when she looked at me as if I was her entire world. Like she was mine.

“Fair enough.” I allowed. “But first I’m diving under this skirt until you’re coming on my tongue. Then I’m fucking you in my jersey.”

She wiggled closer, sending a bolt of heat up my spine. “I should have known you’d love your name across my back.”

“I loveyou, Eva Adams, no matter what you wear,” I leaned down to growl into her ear. “But keep the tiara on.”

EPILOGUE

Several months later…

“I’m just saying Operation Naked Hockey Ass would work better if you spent more time outside of Gavin’s room.”

Eva snorted from the bed next to me, finishing up her Tuesday FaceTime with Stephen. “Pass. I have plenty of naked hockey ass right here.” She shifted the camera toward me, splayed out on top of the tousled sheets, naked.

I glared at her, but she only stuck out her tongue.

Stephen shrieked from the other side of the call. “Wrong ass. Stop taunting me with your perfect boyfriend and get me illicit pics of Reece in a towel. Or not illicit. Better if he knows about them.”

I turned my face into my pillow to hide my laugh. Reece would one hundred percent pose naked for pics. He wouldn’t care who they were for, but he liked Stephen. Not in a romantic way, we’d discovered, but the two had hit it off. Stephen lived for flirting with Reece, who took it as his due.

“I’m not taking naked pictures of Reece, no matter how much he’d enjoy me asking.”

“Sweet cheeks, we’ve talked about this. You have to use your unique position to the advantage of all mankind. The world deserves those pictures, and you continue to deny us.” He shook his head sadly. “Thank god you’re pretty.”

Eva flipped him off with a sweet smile. “Oops, gotta go.Somuch dirty sex to have with my perfect boyfriend.”

“Do good things,” Stephen said with a laugh.

“And don’t take shit from anyone.” Eva made a kissy face at the camera then set her phone on the nightstand.

Henry quacked from the nest she’d made out of my shirt on the floor, and Eva sighed. “Okay, you can play with Cole, but come right back if he has company.”

She climbed off the bed to open the door for the duck, who fluffed her feathers and waddled across the hall. I rolled over to watch the madness and shook my head. “I used to be the favorite.”

“You’re still my favorite.” Eva checked to make sure Cole let her in before coming back to bed.

“I love Henry, but you have to admit it’s weird the way you understand her.”

She traced the dark outline of the flower tattoos on my arm. “My relationship with Henry is no weirder than your relationship with Danny. I can’t believe he goes out and gets the same tattoos as you.”
