“Isn’t he already?” I questioned, smirking as I carefully pulled out of her.

Stepping back, her legs fell to the floor, and I watched my cum drip down her thighs.

Talk about a beautiful fucking sight.

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Mercy

I left Largo in our room, resting because the day’s events had finally taken their toll on her. I hated seeing her this way. She was usually happy and full of energy; it was strange to see her so defeated.

Taking my seat at one of the tables in the main room, I rubbed my hands down my face in frustration. There was still so much we needed to know. Like who sent that fucker to kill Largo? Who really killed Largo’s parents and brother? Then there was the piece down in the mailroom and how she figured into all of this. Not to mention Cynic. My gut was telling me he was mixed up in all of this somehow. Too bad I couldn’t just go downstairs and ask the fucker myself.

“How are you holding up, Mercy?” Fury asked, taking a seat at the table next to me, along with Vicious.

“I just want this shit show to end,” I muttered, looking at the two men who had become close friends. “How are you two healing up? Any pain?”

“Nope, all good,” Fury admitted.

“Same here,” Vicious replied.

Nodding, I leaned back in my chair, waiting for the others to arrive. My mind swirled with information when I tried to assimilate everything, putting the pieces together. I got that George Stone was trying to protect his legacy by covering his ass. I understood Happy’s silence; he was only trying to protectVirginia and vice versa, while Mr. Guillermo was an innocent victim, along with Largo. The Romanos were as clueless as we were. But that left the supposed wife downstairs, the bitter widow, and Cynic. How the hell did they factor into all this?

I was right when I said the whole mess was nothing more than a daytime drama.

Montana had already sent his mother home, allowing Happy to accompany her. While he still hadn’t said anything about their relationship, I knew he was waiting until the dust settled before he gave his opinion on the matter. As for Mr. Guillermo, Montana wasted no time, shaking the man’s hand before he escorted him out of the clubhouse. Looking around the room, I took stock of who was still present for this messed up shit.

The Romanos all sat together at a table, each one looking more disgusted by the minute. Then there was the bitch at the bar, who sneered, giving everyone side glances when I saw Malice and Payne walk in with the former Prez and the supposed wife.

Shoving George into a chair, Malice stood next to him, daring him to say another fucking word. As for the woman, well, she flinched upon seeing the cunt at the bar, and the older woman quickly looked away.

They knew each other.

Interesting.

Sitting up straighter, I cleared my throat and said, “Payne, bring Katherine over here. I want to talk to her.”

Payne shrugged, escorting the young woman as she turned to look at Cecilia Romano.

“Help me!” the young girl begged as Payne unceremoniously forced her into a seat at my table.

“How do you know Cecila Romano?” I asked and watched the young woman’s eyes bulge right before she steeled her resolve.

“Who?”

“You know this isn’t going to end well for you if you keep lying.”

“Like you were ever going to let me go, anyway. I’ve got nothing to say to you. So, either kill me or let me go.”

“Okay.” I smiled, looking at Payne, who pulled out his gun, placed the barrel against her head and clicked off the safety. The woman instantly stilled, fear permeating off her like bad cologne.

“Wait!”

“I won’t ask you again. How do you know Cecila Romano?”

“I’m dating her son.”

Now, that was interesting, considering the woman had no children that I knew of. Looking over at Renaldo and his brothers, every one of them looked confused like I was when Renaldo spoke up, “What is this woman talking about Cecilia?”
