“Who’s that and why are you asking?”

“I sense jealousy in your voice.” I smiled and my heart fluttered.

“Are you teasing me, Honeybee?”

“A little. But I’ve seen Olivia talking to him and they seem to have a spark.”

“Really?” My sister’s face turned pink.

I waggled my brows at her.

“I guess I can bring him. Be there shortly.”

“Okay. Bye.” I ended the call. “Hollywood will be joining us.”

“Oh, my gosh!” Liv frantically rubbed her finger against her teeth, then swished some soda in her mouth. “Do I have any food in my teeth?” She bared her pearly whites.

“Nope. All clear. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this over a guy before. What do you know about him?”

“Literally nothing. All we talk about is the weather and his Harley.” She fixed her blouse and pushed up her boobs.

“At that rate, he’ll be gone before you find out his real name.”

“It’s probably for the best. I can’t keep a man to save my life.”

I spotted Cade and Hollywood enter. “Oh, girl. Here they come.”

“Don’t embarrass me.”

“I won’t if you won’t. Better break out the filter you never use.”

“I promise.” Liv crossed her heart.

“Hi, baby.” Cade dropped a sweet kiss on my lips, then sat down next to me. “How’s your mama?”

“Good. She should be released tomorrow.”

“That’s terrific news.”

“Introduce me.” I nudged him with my elbow.

“Jesus.” He hooked his arm around my neck and pulled me close. “Hollywood, this is my girl, Shelby. And darlin’ this is Hollywood. He’s a member of the Knight’s Legion MC.”

“Good to meet you.” He nodded at me, then smiled at Olivia. “Liv.”

“Hey, Hollywood.” Olivia batted her eyelashes and blushed. Never had I ever seen her like this with a guy. I suddenly had the urge to play matchmaker.

“I suppose you live in Minnesota, then?” I asked Hollywood. Might as well ask him all the questions my sister couldn’t. “Are you married? Divorced? Have any kids or violent convictions you served time for?”

Hollywood stared at me with a shell-shocked expression.

“Shelby! You promised.” Olivia shot me a dirty look.

“I didn’t promise anything.”

“Told ya she was a pistol.” Cade let out a hearty chuckle and kissed the side of my head. “Come on, baby. Let’s give the kids some privacy.” He took my hand, and we left the cafeteria.

“Do you think she’s safe with him?”
