Eddie’s life in Green Hill is simple—he has good friends, a good job he enjoys, and no complications. That is, until a buffalo shifter walks into his favorite coffee shop and turns his world upside down with a single look. The connection is instant, making Eddie wonder if this might be it, but Matthias is just passing through.
Matthias has spent his entire life being the one his family calls when things fall apart, the one who drops everything to solve everyone else’s problems. He’s learned to put himself last, but when he meets Eddie and realizes the human is his mate, Matthias faces an impossible choice—his family’s endless needs, or the future he’s always wanted.
