“Of course. I’ll get on it now.” He went to walk away then stopped, looking at Riley with interest.
“You wouldn’t have anything to do with the break-in that happened at OceanWorld, would you?” He said with a serious look and Riley looked down at his feet.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” He muttered and Liam looked at me then back at Riley.
“Hmm. Well. That has moved higher up than my jurisdiction and they have names except for two. Theo wanted to warn you.” He added before he walked away.
“Fuck.” Riley muttered and I touched his arm.
“Don’t worry. We will sort that out once we get through all of this mess. Now I need to see a man about a pig.” I said as Hamish came back inside.
I pulled out my phone and dialed the number that had sat in my phone untouched for years.
It rang and rang, and I was worried it would ring out before it was answered.
“Hello?” The heavy accent said with annoyance, and I smiled.
“Uncle. It’s time to feed the pigs.”

Riley
Iwatched the man with the snake tattoo as he stared at me in the darkness.
He grinned and I don’t know why, but that grin was more terrifying than seeing the woman I loved covered head to toe in Kevlar and various weapons.
“Vinnie has twenty men inside. I don’t care who you kill on the way in but keep it as quick as possible. I want Vinnie alive.” Katerina said as she looked at Dante.
“How did you find out?” She asked and Dante grinned.
“Liam. He came home in a bad mood saying he was tired of cleaning up mess and I poked and poked until he broke.” He said with a grin and the man next to him sighed.
They looked alike and I figured they were brothers, except Dante was far more unstable.
“What he isn’t saying is Serena kicked him out of the house saying it was either the bad guys or him losing a life tonight. I gotstuck babysitting to make sure he doesn’t get hurt.” The other man said and Dante rolled his eyes.
“Fuck off, Alejandro. You need this as much as I do.” Dante said and I winced.
“Riley, I need you to stay with Hamish.” She said softly and I shook my head at the same time Hamish protested.
“There is no way we are letting you in there without us. With all due respect to you two gentlemen, I don’t trust anyone right now.” Hamish said as he looked at Dante and Alejandro.
“None taken. If it were our girl, we would be the same.” Dante said with a shrug and a smile at me.
“Fine. Just don’t get in my way.” She snapped at Hamish.
“Can you tell your brother to move out, I want to get this over with.” She said before double-checking her vest and then walking off into the darkness.
“I am so looking forward to this. I have never seen her in action. It’s like watching Santa in the North Pole.” Dante said as he cackled and followed.
What the hell was wrong with the guy?
I followed Hamish who nodded at the gun they had given me to be safe.
“You know how to get the safety off?” He whispered and I shot him a glare.
“Yes.” I snapped as I watched Katerina and Dante who had hurried over to her as they leaned against the door, pointing to the camera.
