“Jenny, don't make me kick his bloody arse,” Ian says, stepping closer. Maya, Duncan, and Timothy all stand up as Anthony and Ian face off again.

“Look, this is my home, you won't fight here. Ian, sit down before Maya takes you down. Anthony, sit, I don't want my brother or Timothy to embarrass you,” my angel says.

“You both heard my girl, sit now. Jen, you need to give me something if I'm going to help you.”

“Fine, Josh, I'm being hunted by a terrorist organization because I helped hide the tribal leader's daughter from him when she became pregnant.”

“Really, Jen? You had to get involved, what about your son, didn't you think about the risks?” Ian exclaims and starts to rise from his chair. Maya puts a hand on his shoulder to remind him to stay seated. He turns and growls at her.

“Really, Ian, you want to face off with me now?” Maya says calmly. Duncan whips his head in their direction and shakes his head to signal Ian not to push it. “Look, the Big Guy is going to kick your arse if you make me kick yours.” She smiles at Ian, and her emphasis on arse in his brogue makes me want to laugh, but I know Ian is deadly serious, and so is Maya.

“It was right before I found out I was pregnant with Tommy. We think they killed our father. Please, Josh, help Tony and me protect Tommy.” She looks at me pleading, I notice she barely looks at Ian.

“Okay, I'll help you, Jen.”

“Thank you, now I have to leave. Again, Nathan knows where you are hiding. He will be coming.” Anthony nods to my mum.

“He's already made an appearance here trying to see Ana and the baby a couple times.”

“Really? And he lived? You’re slacking, Josh.” He laughs at me.

“I wasn't there, or he would've been taken care of.” My mum gasps. “Sorry, Mum, but I'll kill him if he comes near my girls or you again. I won't miss this time.” She knows what I mean. Michael just nods his head.

“Joshua, son, he's your father, and he's sick. Ana, my dear, I think my grandbaby wants you, she's rooting around.” She kisses the top of Bella's head and hands her off to Ana.

Ana sits and starts to prepare to nurse her. Meghan walks over to watch with curiosity on her face.

“Sorry, she's never been around a baby this small or a nursing baby,” Rebekah says.

“It's fine. After all the guys are out of the room, I can show her what I'm doing if that is okay with you.”

“Of course. She’s very smart and knows a lot about babies. She keeps telling me I need one.” Rebekah laughs.

I watch Derek watching her and wonder what he is thinking.

“Can I have the evidence, Anabel, before you start that?” Anthony says to my girl.

“I have it,” Timothy says before I can get angry with him for trying to interrupt my daughter's feeding.

“You protect my sister and nephew.” He points to me. “And you keep away from her, you've done enough,” he says as he points to Ian.

“I don't take orders from your bloody arse. She divorced me, you wanker.”

“Ya, well stay away.” He turns to Jen. “I love you both, I'll be back when it's safe. Listen to Joshua. Come here, Tommy, be a good boy for Mommy. I love you, little man.” He hugs the little boy and then stands to hug his sister. He whispers something to her, and she nods and squeezes him harder. He pulls away and turns to leave.

“Wait, Tony, how are you getting back? Take my car. Please be careful, and I love you. Thank you.” She goes to hand him her keys.

“No, it will lead back to you here. Plus Dan is waiting at your office for me, she has information on evidence that was hacked from Charles’s business years ago.”

Rebekah's soft gasp is not heard by anyone but me, I turn to see her clear her throat and kneel down to talk to Meghan. Timothy hands him the documents and copies of the flash drives.

“I have a dirt bike out front you can take and ditch there,” Derek says and hands him the key.

“Thanks, man.” He looks at me and nods as he walks out the door.

I turn to look at how the family has grown in just a short period. Greg is kneeling down and talking with Meghan, and I see her face light up to whatever he told her. He then reaches out to pick her up, and I see Rebekah calm as the room grows quiet with all we have learned.
