It's been just under two weeks since the group has come to live with us. Maya opened up two farmhouses for Rebekah and Jen. Patrice and Michael are living with us in each of the spare rooms. Patrice is wonderful to have around. She loves holding and helping me with Isabella.

Today Maya really becomes my sister, and I'm excited. Meghan is a flower girl in the wedding, and the others are helping me get Maya ready. Maya picked a Grecian inspired chiffon sheath wedding dress in ivory. It has crystals across the straps, hips, and down the back. Her tattoo shows through the plunging back. We found Meghan a navy tutu style dress so she can feel like a princess. Isabella has an ivory tutu dress with navy accents. Patrice will hold her during the ceremony.

When I woke up this morning, Joshua gave me a gift to wear for the wedding.

“Angel, I want to shower you with everything I can, so today on your best friend’s wedding day, I want you to wear these.” He hands me the jewelry box, and I open it to the most beautiful blue diamond drop earrings. They look antique and are perfect with my dress.

“Honey, I love them, I got you something too.” I reach into my nightstand and pull out the box. He opens it and smiles at me. “To wear with your wedding attire too. Let me put it on you.” I pull the deep blue and silver Rolex out of the box and grab his wrist. I kiss his wrist and clip it into place, making sure the clasp is locked. “I saw this and thought of you. I hope you'll wear it always.”

“Angel, I love you, thank you, and I will wear it always.” He leans into me, and kisses me hard, groaning after a moment. “I want you, Angel, and can't wait until I can have you.”

“I want you too,” I kiss him gently as Isabella starts crying in her bassinet next to the bed. “Well someone wants her attention now.” I pick her up, lean back against the pillows, and nurse while Joshua gets up and starts getting ready.

“Ana, I'm nervous. Any advice?” Maya’s grin is wide and joking because she knows how bad my wedding was.

“No. I didn't want to marry Jonathan, remember? I can't tell you what a happy wedding feels like.” We both laugh.

“A happy wedding is the most joyous thing you feel. It doesn't matter if it's a small intimate wedding or a big, huge affair. When you love him, all you think of is how wonderful you feel and how handsome he looks,” Jen says quietly.

“It doesn't matter if he's wearing a tux or a uniform. Or if you are wearing a cathedral train or no train. The love in his eyes when you walk down the aisle is the best feeling in the world,” Rebekah adds wistfully and sighs. “When Christopher and I got married, he wore his uniform, and I wore a simple dress with only his family and Duncan present.”

Rebekah is wearing a long navy sweetheart neckline dress in chiffon with wide straps. She has her red hair piled on her head in a wispy bun with her long bangs pulled to the side and a rhinestone barrette clipped in her hair. She has tattoos on her left upper arm and shoulder blade. I want to ask her about the one on her shoulder blade, it's a beautiful mask.

I look at Jen. “Is that how you felt when you married Tommy's father or Ian?” Jen is wearing a long navy halter style dress with embellishments around the tiny waist. She left her dark hair flowing down her back. Maya wanted everyone to be included, even Patrice is in a navy dress with a jaunty hat.

“I was so happy when we got married, I didn't have any attendants. Joshua gave me away and signed as my witness. I want that feeling back, I never stopped loving him,” she says with a distant look in her eyes. I notice she was talking about marrying Ian, never clarifying about her wedding to Tommy's father.

“Ana, I need you to take this gift to Duncan please,” Maya says as she nervously hands me a wrapped box. I know it's a Rolex for him, it was what gave me the idea to get one for Joshua. Duncan's is black and silver. She had an inscription put on the back. I smile at her and walk out of the room and right into Joshua's arms.

“Well, well, well, Angel, where are you running off to?” He smiles at me right before his lips capture mine. Every time I've seen him today, he kisses me with such longing. When he pulls back, I'm breathless.

“I…I…have a gift for Duncan from…Maya,” I say breathlessly.

“Angel, keep talking to me like that, and we'll be finding the nearest closet and forgetting the bloody waiting period,” he replies, his voice gruff and his eyes swirling with desire.

“What are you doing here?”

“I have a gift for Maya from Duncan.” He hands me his wrapped gift, and I hand him mine. He kisses me on the forehead and turns to walk away. When I enter the room, I know my cheeks are flushed.

“Are you okay, Ana?” They all ask, still very protective of me.

“I'm fine, I met Joshua in the hall, and he had this for you from Duncan.” I hand the wrapped box to Maya as she smiles knowingly at me.

She unwraps a watch box, looks like we all had the same idea. It's also a Rolex, but this one is full of diamonds and sapphires, it goes with her mother's earrings and ring she's wearing as something old. Just then Daddy walks in and right up to Maya.

“I have your something borrowed.” He smiles as he pulls a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet out of his pocket. “Your mum bought this for Bella as her something new for our wedding. Please wear it today.” He starts to choke up, and I walk over to rub his shoulder. Maya stands from the vanity seat and hugs him close.

“I would love to wear it.” She kisses him as there is another knock on the door.

“Hello, darling.” Greg walks in and stops as he takes her in. “You're so beautiful.” He walks to her and takes her in his arms to kiss her.

“Okay, Maya, let us get this over with.” I help Maya with her simple veil. It’s fingertip length and is secured to her head with a comb in her curls. She has her hair pulled up on the sides with the mass flowing down her back. My brother is going to be shocked speechless.

My sheath style taffeta dress is in navy blue and accentuates my fuller breasts and smaller waist. I have only a little bit more toning, and I'll look better than I did with my pre-pregnancy skinny weight. My hair is also in a half up style, and they added curls to my blond hair. I look around the room and smile at everyone. Jen and Rebekah step out as we take a moment together as a family.
