Simon shot me a glare as he got up from the ground and walked closer to my mate. “This isn’t your omega.” Then he crammed his fingers into Nolan’s hole, making him howl in pain.

I shifted and charged Simon, shoving him away from my mate.

“Get him the fuck off that thing!” I barked at my pack mates.

“On it, alpha.” Charity responded.

My right hand shot out, slamming into Simon’s face, knocking him back. “He’snot.” My left hand followed with a hook to his chin. “Youromega.”

“Ask him!” Simon swung back at me. “He’s mine.”

I could hear my mate whimpering in pain, and that fueled my rage.

“Did he mark you?” I snapped and shoved Simon back.

A barely audible reply came out from Nolan. “No.”

“Fine.” I growled and walked to see my mate’s face and looked into his eyes. Redness rimmed them from crying, and I snarled at Simon. “I can fix that.” I walked around to Nolan’s side and let my urine splash against his side. “He’s mine now, since you see him as a possession.”

“You really think that’s going to stop me from having fun with this omega?” Simon laughed. “You could piss on everyone here marking them, but in the end? It’s me they follow.”

I stopping marking my mate and closed the gap between Simon and I. “Think so?”

“Yeah.” He nodded and stepped closer to me. “You’re not leaving here with him.”

“The hell I’m not.” My right hand darted out, grasping his throat. “He is my mate, and will leave here with me.”

In my peripheral, I saw Charity help him from the bench, and he collapsed in her arms, sobbing.

Nolan

Charity embraced me, murmuring in my ear. “Shh, you’re safe now, Nolan.”

I smelled blood on the air and lifted my head to see my mate land another punch on Simon. He snarled after each attack and tried to counter my mate. I could see the anger growing as he took each hit.

The other four wolves that came with them stood around Charity and me, as well as stopping Simon’s lackeys from joining him to unbalance the fight.

Charity lifted my cast arm. “Can you shift?” I shook my head, and she nodded. “Did Simon do this to you?”

I shook my head. “It happened when I ran from him.”

“And the rest of your bruises?” She stroked my hair from my face.

I nodded. “Those are from him and his friends.”

“Don’t worry. Sebastian will take care of them.” She gave my body a gentle squeeze as we both turned our heads to watch the alphas fighting.

Simon struck out, and Sebastian blocked his advance, laughing at him.

“Is this all you got? You sure you’re not a beta?” He taunted Simon and lashed out, landing a hook in his ribs.

I watched Simon fall to his knees with an arm cradling his abdomen, and I felt a smile on my lips.

“Betta’ take a good long hard look at my mate.” Sebastian’s deep voice echoed. “Because I’m about to even the score.”

A female’s shrill voice screamed. “Stop!”

Without taking his eyes off of Simon, he responded. “Who are you and why should I care?”
