Lane threw his hands up in the air. “Nolan’s parents don’t want him, and honestly, Brice, I think my pack is over the bullshit he brings.” He shrugged. “The Shadowhelm’s can have him.”

Anger flowed through my veins. “He isnota piece of property! He’s a person!”

“I agree with you, Mister Aarons.” The judge nodded and looked at Dillon. “Do you have any requests of the Grimclaw pack?”

Dillon smiled. “We do.”

“Of course you do.” Lane’s voice sounded irritated. “Go on, let’s hear it.”

“You relinquish all rights from the pack to Nolan. And Simon has to stay away from him.”

“They go to the same university.” Lane scowled.

“They don’t have classes together.” Dillon countered. “I’ve already spoken to the university for support.”

Simon sat up and smiled at me. “Then Sebastian needs to quit the team.”

“Done.” I folded my hands on the table.

Simon blinked a few times, then looked at his dad.

“The omega has no ties here. He’s yours. And Simon will stay away.”

Judge Glover looked over at the Grimclaws before turning his attention to our table.

“What happens if he doesn’t” Arden sat forward.

“I think he should be strapped to the bench he put Nolan on.” I smiled.

“No one cares what you think.” Simon growled.

Dillon stared across the room at Simon. “I think it’s only fair to know what’s on the table as punishment.”

Simon sat back in his seat, and his dad shook his head, speaking. “This is ridiculous. All this pomp for having some fun with an omega before his mate?”

“What I heard was rape.” The judge sat forward. “Not some fun times for Nolan.”

“Fine. Brice?” Lane let out a frustrated sigh. “As the mediator, what do you think?”

The judge lifted a shoulder. “In our sleuth, if the crime is grave, like this one, breaking the agreement would cause being shunned and booted.”

Lane laughed. “All because boy will be boys?”

I stood up, growling. “Rape is a world away from fun, asshole.”

The judge held his hand up. “Mister Aarons, please sit down.”

A snarl formed as I took my seat, glaring at Lane and Simon.

“Oh, for fuck’s sake.” Lane’s eyes narrowed as his hands slammed on the table. “Fine.IfSimon breaks the agreement, I’ll cast him out myself.If.”

“Looks like we’re done here.” The judge smiled. “I’ll be home in time for popcorn with my omega.” He winked at us and stood up.

“Would you like to walk out with us?” Dillon offered as we all stood up.

“Sure.” He glanced over his shoulder. “I’ll send you my bill, Lane!”

We left the room in the same manner we entered it, and my pop went to go find dad and Nolan. We stood around by the cars and waited for them to come out.
