I smirk, waiting for her to connect the dots.

“Greyson. Your jersey number was ten.” She gasps.

“I know. That’s why I chose it.” I lean down and drop a kiss on the tip of her nose. “It was the day I fell in love with you, Tilly Harper.”

Her cheeks flush. “That’s so……sweet.” She wraps her arm around my waist. “I love you “

My arms embrace her small body, as we stare out at the water. It’s summertime now and the lake is clear and the trees green.

“So, what do you think about putting it right over there?” I point.

She turns. “Put what over there?”

“Our house.” I untangle our arms and walk towards the spot I have marked.

“Did you just say our house?”

“I did.” I glance back at her. “Your dad sold me this chunk of land.”

“When?” She stalks towards me.

“Two years ago.”

“Two years!” She squawks.

“I told you. Everything I’ve ever done was with you at the front of my mind, Rosie.”

She smiles, so genuine. So beautiful.

“And I think right here would be the perfect spot where I can sit on this porch and watch you skate.”

Her feet carry her across the rocks and fallen pine, and she launches herself at me. I catch her, letting her legs wrap around me.

“You’re my end game, Tilly Harper. Always have been,” I whisper in her ear.

She squeezes me tighter before she whispers back. “Always.”

Chapter 59

Tilly

Five months later

I coo down at the sweet little bundle wrapped in a light blue blanket.

“Hi sweet boy,” I whisper.

I’m holding Jasper Grey Roy in my arms as Greyson peers over my shoulder.

He may have been a professional football player, but one little whimper from his nephew has him a scrambling mess.

“He’s handsome, isn’t he?” I ask.

“He gets it from me.” Greyson winks.

I laugh and stand to walk him back over to Easton, who’s currently watching Elle scarf down a chicken leg.

“That was incredible.” Easton gazes at Elle like she hung the moon herself. The stars too.
