Now I was the one in danger of crying.

Reed nodded. I watched as he stripped down and slid under the covers.
I shut the door tight and then turned off the lamp in the corner of the room, the darkness settling around us.
By the time I slipped my shorts and shirt off and joined him in bed, Reed was already asleep.
I spooned his body tight and everything in my world was right again.
Sleep, which had all but eluded me for the past week, finally came.

I woke up surrounded by bright sunlight and strong arms.
