He remembers my tattoo.

Fuck!

“Come on, big guy.”

“Claudia?”

“Yeah,” I huffed, trying to walk him over to the steps on the side of the stage. Well, more like we stumbled over there.

“I don’t feel so good.”

“KING!” I screamed bloody murder, just as Frank bent over and vomited all over me.

Standing stock still, I dared not move.

If I thought the laughter in the bar was loud when Frank was singing, it was deafening now.

“Oh shit.” King rushed over to me, failing miserably to hide his laughter. He grabbed Frank before he collapsed. “Stay there, Lidi, I’ll go get some towels.”

Hearing laughter, I slowly turned to find Gunner and Priest snapping pictures of me. “Should have let him keep singing, Doc.”

“I’m going to kill you both,” I sneered.

Walking into my house, I tried not to cringe at the sloppy gooey mess in my shoes. All I wanted was to strip, shower, and forget this night ever happened.

Hearing laughter, I glared at Jessica, who said, “Have fun tonight?”

“Shut up.”

Her cackles got louder when I frog-marched towards my room. After showering and washing myself twice, I stepped out of the shower and quickly dressed before heading back into the living room to find Jess looking at her phone.

“So, how many people know?”

“Oh, you’re trending, Lidi. Scribe uploaded the video to YouTube. You’ve got over a million views so far.”

Rolling my eyes, I groaned, “Fucking great.”

Popping a squat on my sofa, I smiled when I looked over at the small bassinet. “How was he tonight?”

“Ate, shit, and is now sleeping like a baby. Wanna talk about it?”

“Not really,” I sighed, leaning my head back.

“You know, you could have avoided this humiliation if you’d just come clean.”

Yeah. It didn’t take Jessica long to figure out whose dick I sent her in my drunken haze that night. The second she figured it out, she wouldn’t leave me alone until I confirmed everything and told her all the dirty, wonderful, delicious details.

Woman was worse than a bloodhound in heat.

The woman was still swooning after all this time.

Looking at my best friend, I narrowed my eyes. “And what purpose would that serve? Nothing can come of it. He’s a brother in the club and I’m not getting involved with a brother.”

“Oh please,” Jessica groaned. “Do you honestly think Enigma would give a damn if you hooked up with Frank?”

“That’s not the point.”

“Then tell me what the point is because my gut is telling me you and Frank would be perfect together. Why are you fighting this?”
