Looking around the room, I asked, “Who are we still waiting for?”

“Granny,” Frank said, looking at his phone. “I called her, but she never answered.”

“Did you try texting her?”

Frank nodded. “Even called Georgie to see if he’s seen her, but nothing. He hasn’t left the hospital since the accident. I don’t want to wait any longer.”

“We can wait a few more minutes, Frank.”

My big, loveable man shook his head. “No. I’m done waiting. I’ve waited long enough for you. I want you legally bound to me for eternity.”

Sliding closer to him, I wrapped my arms around his waist as I tilted my head back to look up at him. “Eternity, huh?”

“Forever.”

Frank got his wish moments later. Priest married us in front of the club and our friends. While the wedding was quick and simple, it was still the most romantic moment I’d ever experienced, because when I looked into Frank’s eyes, I could see the love he felt for me, which made everything so much sweeter.

I never thought marriage was in my cards, let alone a baby, with two more on the way. I looked at the man who, just moments ago, professed his unyielding love for me and I felt blessed, special, like the luckiest woman in the world.

“I know this day wasn’t exactly what you two had planned, but the girls and I still wanted you to have something memorable,” Bailey said, walking ahead of us while Frank and I followed Bailey and Henley upstairs.

Stopping before Frank’s room, Bailey smiled. “Normally we would have fixed up a cabin for you, but thanks to those nasty fucknuts who attacked the other night, all the cabins need to be repaired. So, I hope this works.”

“Don’t worry about Charlie,” Henley added. “Scribe and I will take care of him tonight. Scribe needs the practice before our little one arrives.”

With that, both women left. Frank opened his bedroom door and we both walked in. Looking around the room, I gasped in shock as the sight that greeted me transported me down the rabbit’s hole.

The room looked like the Queen of Hearts’ rose garden from Alice in Wonderland. Somehow, the girls had created a fantasy world with red roses. Everywhere I looked there were vases, bushels, and bundles of red roses. Petals strewn everywhere I could see. Even the bed, covered in the silky red petals of my favorite flower.

It was magical.

“Do you like it?”

Turning, Frank stood stiffly near the door, watching me intently.

“Did you know about this?”

He nodded. “I told them what I wanted.”

“This was your idea? How did you do this? Everything’s happened so fast. When?”

“I gave Bailey my card. She called Beth.”

“Oh, Frank,” I gasped, walking over to him, hugging him tightly. “It’s perfect. Thank you.”

Cupping my face, he whispered, “I love you, Claudia James Steiner. I have since the first time I saw you and I will until my last dying breath.”

As my eyes lifted, I found myself captivated by Frank’s intense gaze, brimming with love and adoration, which sent my heart soaring.

He truly was a magnificent, gentle giant.

The most lovable man in the world, and he was all mine.

“I’ve dreamed of this night for five years. In my mind, I imagined so many things, so many variables. Yet standing here before you, knowing you are mine forever, it just never occurred to me,” Frank whispered absently while he stroked my hair. His fingers combing through the strands.

“We’ve done this once before,” I stated, my heart pounding in my chest.

God, the man was more beautiful than I thought.
