And as my eyes met his, his oaky scent wrapped around my head. “I can’t resist you.”

His gaze fell to my lips. “Then, don’t.”

Oh, hell yes. Devour him, Raven.

Before I second guessed myself, I gave in to the voice in my head. I pushed myself forward, crashing my lips to his as he yanked my arms toward him. I collapsed into his body as his back pressed into the couch, hovering over him as if I had found my meal for dinner. Our tongues wrapped together in an endless embrace, his hands sliding quickly beneath my shirt. The electrical pulses his skin left upon mine clenched my thighs, and as I straddled him I ripped at his clothes.

“Off,” I growled in a voice that wasn’t really mine. “Get them off, Dean.”

His stare ignited with excitement. “There she is.”

I paused with my hands fisting his shirt. “What?”

He stared not at me, but through me. Into me, really. “I see you.”

Hello, Dean. Long time, no see.

I gasped as I scrambled off his lap. “What are you doing?”

Ooooh, look at that stiff cock. He’s ready for us, Raven. Go get him. Take what you want.

I stood to my feet, forcing myself to come to my senses. “Get out.”

Dean slowly eased himself up from the couch. “Raven, it’s okay. It’s natural. It’s—.”

I pointed to the front door. “Get the fuck out.”

No!

“Raven,” Dean said softly as he stood to his feet.

But I wasn’t having any of it. Not the voice in my head. Not the sexual urges. Not the shifting. None of it. I hated the feeling. I hated the feeling of not being in control. I was in control and no one else.

“Get out!” I shrieked.

Dean stared me down for the longest time, and I simply turned my back to him. I walked over to the wall and pressed my hands into it, feeling the old and damp plaster give way beneath my pressure. I hung my head in shame. I stuffed down the voice in my head, muffling its growling intensity with the feeling of my bones shivering against my muscles.

“Just leave me alone,” I whispered.

And without another word, Dean silently exited the house.

While the heat of his lips and the sizzling touch of his magic lingered upon my aching skin.

DEAN

As I slipped out onto the porch, the rain mesmerized me. The headache raging through the front of my head quickly slipped between my lobes, and I braced myself for another vision. I bent forward, holding back the bile creeping up my throat. And as the pain overwhelmed me, another vision crash-landed upon my conscious mind.

“Dean!”

I smiled as Raven called out for me. “Hey there, beautiful.”

She ran straight for me and leapt into my arms. “I missed you on the hunt.”

I captured her lips softly. “I missed you, too.”

“Hey, leave some of those kisses for me now,” Levi said as he charged out of the house.
