Two hours later, I lay in the relaxation room overlooking the woods. This was supposed to be relaxing, but my mind hadn’t shut off. All I kept thinking about was the reasons I had suggested why Iris and I shouldn’t be together, yet none of them seemed to be good enough.

“There you are,” I heard Iris say behind me.

“Yes, how was your massage?” I questioned, looking up at her.

“I haven’t been this relaxed in ages,” she said, letting out a yawn.

I chuckled. I’d begun feeling that way when I first sat in that heated hot tub, and then that faded as Iris sunk in beside me. I’d been on edge since, my body keyed up and ready for things it hadn’t felt in ages.

“What time is dinner?” I questioned.

“Six.”

“Alright, I’m going to go up and take a shower. Why don’t you stay here for a bit and continue to unwind?” I suggested, nodding to the lounger beside mine. “Have a cucumber water. It’s delicious.”

She looked around the room and then at me and nodded. “I think I will.”

I took my time walking through the lower part of the spa, stopping into a couple of stores on my way back to my room. Zach should be finished with his shower, and I’d have the room to myself to get ready for dinner tonight.

I’d watched him for a bit this afternoon, swimming laps in the pool after he’d left the cold plunge. I’d watched how the muscles in his back had contracted as he swam back and forth, and then how his abs flexed as he climbed the ladder out of the pool.

I’d been a fool to think that I’d be able to do this weekend. The man was a god, and there was no denying that I was attracted to him.

I slid the key card into the door lock and stepped inside. The room was quiet. I went over to my suitcase and pulled out the dress I’d brought for dinner, and then grabbed my toiletry bag from my suitcase and made my way into the washroom.

The room was still warm from when Zach had his shower. I moved the pile of towels from the front of the tub and placed a dry one on the floor. I slipped out of my stuff, leaving everything in a pile on the counter, and pulled back the curtain on the tub. In a flash my eyes landed on Zach, who stood naked before me, his large hard cock in his hand the other resting on the wall in front of him, a look of shock and embarrassment on his face as his eyes ran the length of my bare body.

“Oh my god!” I screamed, grabbing for a towel that hung on the towel rack and quickly covering myself. It was too late, though. I knew he’d seen me, just like I saw him, as he quickly grabbed for the shower curtain that I’d ripped away from covering him.

We both stood there, looking at one another, our faces red, each one of us mortified in the moment. It was then I turned around, ripping my eyes from him.

“I thought you were downstairs. God, Zach, I’m so embarrassed. I’m so…” I took off from the bathroom, feeling like I could die. Panicking, I raced around the room, grabbing clothes from my suitcase as my heart raced until I felt faint.

I dropped my clothes to the floor and sat down on the bed, breathing hard, trying to erase what I’d just seen. I heard the bathroom door open and then felt the end of the bed dip down and a warm hand on my bare shoulder.

“Zach, please, this is just all too much,” I said, my vision blurring as I looked out the window.

“Hey. It’s alright. Look, I’m going to take a step back here, and I’d like you to do the same. Look at me.”

I could barely turn my head, but I did, and when I met his eyes, I didn’t see someone who was embarrassed. Instead, he looked at me with the same look he’d given me ever since we met.

“We are two adults. We are sharing a room. I know you didn’t think I was in there. Hell, I didn’t think you were back up here or were coming up anytime soon. So how about we both just forget what happened and try to have a good evening.”

I swallowed hard. I still felt like I wanted to die, and here he was trying hard to ignore the fact that we’d seen one another in our birthday suits.

“Zach, I can’t.”

“You can. I know you can. Now I’m going to get dressed and leave you so you can get ready for dinner. I’ll meet you in the lobby.”

He didn’t say another word. Instead, he did as he said he was going to.

Once he was gone, I reached for my cell phone. I needed help, and the only one I could think of was my sister. I dialed her number and waited for her to answer. Finally, on the fifth ring, she picked up, laughter in her voice.

“Hello!”
