“Unlike you, bossy billionaire? Or do you prefer to be called Sin?”

I ignored her question and asked my own, “Are you concerned that I’ll see you naked? I hate to break it to you, beauty, but if I wanted to see you naked, all I have to do is close my eyes.”

Her gaze widened, realizing I was right. “We’re not discussing this.”

I never stopped rubbing my fingers over my mouth as her gaze followed the movement of my hand, causing her luscious lips to purse as she watched my every move. Only triggering the memories of how many times I’d bitten her bottom lip for her.

It was one of her favorite things I used to do.

Narrowing my eyes at her, I seductively licked my lips, practically tasting her against my tongue.

Her skin flushed.

Her legs squirmed.

Her body completely reacted to my greedy regard.

“You need to stop looking at me like that, Mr. Sinclair. I’m your publicist, not one of the models you flaunt on your arms.”

I smiled wide. “Kept tabs on me, huh?”

“Don’t flatter yourself. You’re on every gossip magazine every week.”

“And whose benefit was that for, Miss Locke?”

She disregarded my question. “Are you done reading now? Are you going to sign?”

Only then did I notice she already signed the contract at the bottom of the document.

“You drive a hard bargain, but if I agree to your new terms, then you’ll have to agree to my new ones as well.”

She hesitantly sighed. “Should I be worried to hear this?”

“I get private time with you that doesn’t include when you’re being my publicist.”

She looked at me like I’d suddenly grown three heads. “What could we possibly have to say to one another that’s not about your business?”

“We have plenty to talk about when it comes to our business.”

“We don’t have any business. We only have yours.”

“Are you worried about being alone with me?”

“We’re alone right now.”

“Then it shouldn’t be a problem to add a few hours a week of private discussion.”

“A few hours?” she exclaimed. “I barely want to be around you for a few minutes. You’ve got to be kidding me?”

“What will it take for you to trust me when I assure you that my intentions are pure?”

“You don’t need to tell me anything that doesn’t have to do with Oasis Corporation. I’m not your friend, Mr. Sinclair. I’m your publicist, nothing more, nothing less. If you don’t understand the difference between the two, then we have no business continuing this conversation. I don’t need closure. Do you understand me? Nothing you can say is going to make us friends. If it weren’t for this opportunity, I wouldn’t be here right now. I have no interest in getting to know the man you are now. Period.”

I resisted the urge to argue with how wrong she truly was. Instead, I did what I had to do to close the deal and ensure her future and the next month with me. Grabbing the pen, I turned to the last page of her contract and above the line that said, sign here.

I did, signing…
