I no longer fear him leaving me. He shows his love for me every single day, every single hour, every single minute. With his touch, with his need for me, and with the care he puts into everything he does.

A tall shadow blots out the sky, and I raise my head to look at Gael standing over me.

“When we’re back home, let’s try to make a baby,” he says, leaning closer and grinning from ear to ear.

I’m still not sure how he does it, but he can still read my mind.

“I’m all yours.” We may not be able to make one, but we will certainly try.

“Fuck, I’m hard,” he whispers in my ear, making my own cock come to life. “Are you sure we can’t leave now?”

I’m so tempted that I nearly say yes, but I’m interrupted by Anya’s voice.

“Uncle C? Uncle G? Are you coming?”

I press a kiss to his lips and then push him away so I can stand up.

Once I’m on my feet, he pulls me against him. “I love being an uncle, but what I love more is being with you. And later at home, I’m going to show you how much,” Gael says, and jokingly bites my lips while reaching for my hand.

I take it and let him guide me to the table. Once I’m seated, he sits next to me and takes my hand in his again. I love that he can’t stay away, that he has to have me close. After spending ten years wishing and praying for him to come back to me, I’ll never tire of how touchy-feely he is. I’m in awe at seeing that he’s not afraid to show me how much he needs and wants me.

What I’m most happy about, is that I’m not afraid to trust him. It seems like all those years never happened, and we are still G and Cammy. Forever.

We lost so many years, but what we have now is stronger than ever, and this time we’re not going to throw it away, or take it for granted.

We’re both going to fight to stay together.

One heart and one soul.
