She stopped in front of me. “You have my number,” she said softly.
“Can I give you some advice?”
She nodded.
“You’re in the wrong profession.”
She crinkled her face.
“You should be an actress.”
She smiled.
“It might be a good way to capitalize on your multiple personalities.”
She opened her mouth to say something, but I pushed her out the door.
