"Life with you does come with an adorable dog. That sort of a buy one get one situation and I love a deal."

He chuckled, and I loosened my grip on him so we could look at each other. "You only want me for my dog?"

I shrugged casually. "Pretty much. She does like me more than you."

"You're not wrong there. She shunned me the moment you stormed off in the middle of the night."

"As she should. Us ladies need to stick together."

The corner of Sebastian's mouth kicked up. “I want to be part of your world.”

I pinched him. “That’s not our Disney movie.”

“It doesn’t make it any less true.” He sounded certain.

I winked an eye shut. “Are you sure?”

“Positive.”

“I’m not a princess. And you’re no prince charming.”

“I prefer the beast anyway.”

I rolled my eyes. “Puh-lease.”

Sebastian kissed me softly.

Still a nugget of doubt sat heavy in my belly. I reached up and stroked his dark stubble. "Are you sure about this?"

"Nobody is ever going to be good enough for you," Sebastian said and when I went to open my mouth, he put a finger to my lips. "But I want to try. I want to try every day to be the man you deserve."

I grabbed his face and drew his lips to mine. We sat there on the bench, making out like teenagers until someone whistled at us. Blush rushing to my cheeks, I buried my face on Sebastian's chest.

He chuckled, holding me close. His breath was warm against my ear. "Can we go home now?"

I relaxed into him. "There's nothing I want more."

EPILOGUE

ONE MONTH LATER - SEBASTIAN

"But did the couch need another blanket?" I'd just flown in from London and headed straight back to the house the second we touched down only to find that Faith had gone shopping.

She sank into her hip, one hand poised under her chin. "The other blanket is great for winter, but it's spring now and that means we need a little pop of color in here."

"Uh-huh." I patted Willow who heaved a dramatic sigh.

“Don’t worry, I’m not making too many changes.”

The woman could make as many changes to my house as she liked as long as she kept my office as is.

“I thought it looked nice. Besides, it’s just a little something to help with the seasonal change. I really held back; you should have seen all the things Luna threw into my cart that I put back on the shelves.”

I lifted a brow. “You’re saying this could have been worse?”

She nodded emphatically. “I’m saying this could have been a lot worse.”

I schooled the severe expression on my face.
