“I’m attempting to be a better man, little fox. Now will you just play along?”

I throw my arms around the back of his neck and pull him down on top of me. Smothering his lips with kisses, I murmur, “Of course, I will, you crazy stalker. If I said no, I’d just find you watching me in my bedroom at all hours of the night, wouldn’t I?”

“You know me so well, love.” His lips capture mine and I sink into the mattress, with his reassuring weight pressed against me.

“Love, I like that,” I whisper against his mouth.

“Better than little fox?” He looks downright insulted.

“I’ve actually grown quite fond of that one too.”

“Good. Because that one’s never going away.” He fits his hips between my thighs and his arousal brushes my center.

I groan at the heady feel of him prodding at my entrance. “Nico… I thought we were finally getting out of bed so Blanca can come in here and clean.”

He pushes inside me, just the tip, and my back arches as the taut bundle of nerves lights up. “I’d rather live in filth than not fuck you right now.” Those mischievous eyes find mine, and he thrusts all the way in.

A moan tumbles out at the utter feeling of fullness.

“Is that a yes, then?” His grin widens as he slowly pulls out then fills me to the hilt again.

“Fine, just be quick.” There’s something important I keep forgetting to tell him about Blanca, but with his strong arms caging me in and him doing this, I can’t seem to keep my thoughts focused.

“Yes, ma’am. I’ll have you screaming my name in no time, Miss Maisy.” He thrusts again, and my head falls back as raw pleasure races through my veins.

A few hours later and we finally emerge from the bedroom, now fully bathed and clothed. Nico’s fingers are tangled through mine as he leads me to the kitchen. I’m starved after the night and morning of earth-shattering orgasms.

“Morning, Blanca.” Nico ticks his head at the housekeeper who’s sitting on the couch playing with her phone. The entire penthouse is spotless, so she’s clearly been waiting for us to get out of the master bedroom.

How embarrassing. I hope she didn’t hear my mewling moans. I know I sound like a cat in heat despite how sexy Nico says they are.

My gaze flickers to hers and that memory flits to the surface. “Morning,” I murmur.

She barely offers a nod before she scampers down the hall and disappears into the master. As soon as I’m certain she’s out of earshot, I inch closer to Nico who’s already started pouring the coffee.

“I forgot to tell you something weird that happened with Blanca the other day,” I whisper.

He takes a sip from the mug and watches me over the rim. “What happened?”

“I found her sitting at the computer in your office. She said she was trying to check her email, but does she have a password to get on?”

Nico shakes his head, his dark brows furrowing. “You and Marco are the only two with that privilege.”

“That’s what I thought…” I chew on my bottom lip before adding, “I was on your computer right before it happened. Maybe I forgot to log you out.”

His head dips, and he stares down the quiet hallway. “Maybe. Thank you for telling me. I’ll have to keep an eye on her. I’ve had all the hotel staff that enters this apartment checked out, but one can never be too sure.” He takes a measured sip, and I can practically see the gears grinding in his head. “You’ve become close with the girl, haven’t you?”

I nod. “We’ve chatted a few times, but nothing crazy.”

“She’s from Puerto Rico, right?”

“Yup.”

The line between his dark brows deepens. “You’ve become quite the cunning little fox, love.” He presses a kiss to my forehead and draws me into his arms.

“Is there something wrong?”

He holds me tight against his chest, and I sink into his firm embrace. With Nico’s arms around me, everything else melts away.
