Sienna smirks. “I have friends who are OmegaFans creators and others are on BetaFans. Their clients will love them for using this on themselves while they watch. Do you realize how many voyeurs are out there? And I’m sure the creators will benefit by a surge in subscribers.”
Finally, I can’t contain the grin on my face.
Sienna claps her hands, excitement glowing in her eyes. “Let’s do it. First, I’ll give one to Grace to test the toy. She’s on BetaFans. If she likes it, she might become one of your loyal customers, and who knows, maybe she can help get the word out to other betas on the site.”
I nod in agreement. “That sounds like a perfect plan if Grace and her followers or other content creators can help spread the word.”
I glance at the sex toy. The thought of it gaining popularity and attracting attention from the influencers makes me even more determined to succeed. It’s not just about the product anymore; it’s about proving myself as an omega and a business owner.
Sienna grins. “Betas are known for supporting small businesses like yours, and I know Grace will be happy to help you out.”
For the first time in a long time, excitement courses through me. “I can show the world that omegas can be innovators, too.”
Sienna’s eyes light up. “It’s the first time I’ve seen you looking happy and relaxed since you moved here. You normally look like a scared bunny.”
The deep breath I take brings with it a feeling of hope, as if a weight has been lifted off my chest. “It’s the first time I’ve felt it,” I say, my voice soft. “I’m hoping Jake can find an investor once the business gets the exposure it needs. But I might get it this way too.”
“How is Jake?” Sienna asks as Harlow and Bardot reach the table.
I sigh, avoiding Sienna’s gaze. “He’s doing okay. Busy with his studies and trying to find investors for us.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll make this work, even if it takes a while,” Sienna says.
I give her a grateful smile. “Thanks, Sienna. You’ve been a wonderful friend since I moved here. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“That’s what friends are for,” she says, waving a hand dismissively. “I’m just happy to help.” She grins. “And also, if you want to talk about you and Jake, I’m happy to listen.”
“He’s still only my best friend.”
Bardot scrunches her nose. “And how does that work? An omega living with an alpha?”
I smile. “I take omega blockers. It stops my scent from leaking and stops his alpha from smelling me.”
“But he still knows that you’re an omega,“ Sienna says suspiciously. “You must want to... Not use the toy and use him instead.”
I laugh. “You’re terrible.”
“I would. He’s gorgeous and brainy. Who wouldn’t?”
I do think of Jake like that, but we agreed to not let anything get in the way of our friendship. “He wouldn’t. Not with me, anyway.”
“Yes, he would. Who are you kidding? The man is obsessed with you,” Sienna replies.
“He isn’t. He’s my best friend...”
“But would you if he asked?” Harlow grins wickedly, her eyes sparkling. “I can’t believe you’re not into him.”
I blush, but not because I’m embarrassed. It’s because I can never hide my feelings for Jake. “I like him...” My words come out quiet. “But it was his decision to stay friends.”
“His—an alpha refused an omega?”
“I never told him how I feel. One day, he told me we were best friends, and I agreed.”
Trying to avoid her questions about Jake, I take another two boxes from my bag, plonk them onto the table and smile as Harlow and Bardot stare at the dildos. “I just wanted a beta to try it out, but if you ladies would like one. Just let me know at what level it inflates too much. If the shaft is too big, too girthy...”
“Sold. I’ll take one,” Harlow says.
