“Did you see that shit?” He asked as Killian looked down the hall and shrugged.

“What are you talking about?” He questioned, and Blaine shushed him quickly as he held his hand in the air.

“Silence…” He whispered, and then suddenly, they heard a fit of giggles and the pitter-patter of feet. They walked toward the end of the hall quickly and tilted their heads as they analyzed the scene before them. They watched as girls who truly resembled little princesses twirled and leaped along the hallways as their giggles filled the air.

“Do you see this magical shit?” Blaine whispered, and they heard a door shut and a loud sigh.

“It took a very long time to get those magical creatures ready.” Said a voice, and they turned to see Brielle walking in, looking exhausted. She walked over to them, and before Killian could pull her towards him, she rested her head on his chest.

“I’m exhausted..” She whined, and he wrapped his arm around her waist, completely ignoring Blaine’s presence.

“Are you now?” Killian asked, and she nodded her head. “I was only able to get one report done, and I know I’m going to be drained tonight.”

“You could always take a few days off..” he offered, pushing a stray hair out of her face, and she shook her head. “I don’t need any more favoritism here.. now, where’s my baby?”

“She’s in the back room. She should be all done by now.” Brielle nodded and walked away. Killian looked over to Blaine, whose jaw dropped, and his eyes were wide as saucers. He collected himself and chuckled as he shook his head at Killian.

“Oh, Kiki… she totally has you whipped, man.” Killian rolled his eyes and walked away from Blaine. He wasn’t going to give him a response because 1) his acquaintance didn’t deserve one, and 2) he wasn’t sure if he believed that he actually wasn’t.

Brielle knocked on the door gently and opened it. Delilah sat in a white chair, playing on her phone as she received the finishing touches on her hair. She looked up, letting out a gasp when she saw Brielle. She got off the chair with much effort and ran over to her.

“BRIBRI, BRIBRI, BRIBRI!!!!” She screamed happily, and Brielle caught the little girl who was stumbling in the process of running.

“Happy birthday, baby!”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” She screamed once again, and Brielle placed her finger over her mouth.

“Inside voices, baby..” Delilah made an ‘O’ shape with her mouth and nodded her head. Brielle saw movement in the background, and she looked up and saw three men and two women standing with smiles on their faces, but their eyes held fear.

“Hello, Ms. Newman. We hope her attire is to your liking..” One of the men said, and Brielle stood up.

“Give me a twirl, baby.” Delilah spun in a circle, and Brielle clapped her hands.

“It’s perfect. She looks absolutely beautiful.” She loved the way her hair fell down her shoulders in beach waves instead of her still beautiful, messy curls and how the flowers at the bottom of her dress complemented the ones sprinkled on top, along with the gold bow at the back.

The stylist’s shoulders relaxed, and Brielle could tell they felt slightly better but were still a little tense. She looked behind her to see Killian glaring holes into the stylists as if daring them to do.. well, anything. She sighed and grabbed Delilah’s hand as Killian looked down at his phone and nodded.

“Come along.. everything is ready,” He voiced as he and Blaine walked out the door.

Brielle followed, and Delilah looked up at her. “What’s ready?” Delilah asked, and Brielle smiled as she wasn’t sure what to expect either.

“You’ll see, Dede.” The little girl giggled happily as they reached the end of the hall, which had a massive bow on both doors. Brielle covered Delilah’s eyes, who squealed softly in return. The doors were opened, and Brielle slowly walked Delilah in. Everyone in the room went quiet and smiled when they saw the two.

“Ready, baby?” Brielle whispered to her, and she nodded in response.

“Y-yeah.”

“Okay… 1, 2, 3!” She unblocked her eyes, and the little girl placed both of her hands over her mouth.

“Surprise!!” Everybody yelled, and she remained motionless as she looked at everyone. It was every little girl’s dream filled with flowers, pink, and all things glitter. From the ceiling to the ground, Killian made sure everything sparkled. Benjamin and Reginald stepped into view, and Benjamin cleared his throat.

“That’s not all, Ms. Newman, Reginald.” He turned to Reginald, who clapped twice. Everyone looked to the side of the room as the door opened, and in walked actual life-like princesses.

Delilah looked over at them slowly, and she couldn’t help the tears that came to her eyes and the few that fell down her cheek. She turned to Brielle gradually and put her hands down from her face. Immediately seeing something was wrong, Brielle crouched down and held her tiny hands.

“I-Is this party.. for me?” Delilah questioned softly as her voice quivered.

“Of course it is, baby,” Brielle responded.
