That wasn’t like anything else I’d experienced. It was even hotter than the first time I kissed her, and she dragged me back to her, smashing our mouths together this time.
“God, I want you so bad,” I groaned into her ear as her phone vibrated in her pocket.
“Let me just get this.” She gasped, and I dropped my mouth to her neck, my hands spanning her waist.
“Whoever it is, you’re busy,” I muttered, my fingers sliding up the back of her top as she giggled.
“Logan,” she protested, turning her face to meet my mouth as I buried my hands in her hair.
The attraction between us was too strong, too dynamite for any of us to deny it.
“I have a question.” I exhaled against her, my forehead on hers.
“What?” Jessica smiled, capturing my face in her hands as she studied me.
“If I wasn’t Ellie’s brother, would it be different?”
She blinked rapidly, her smile fading as she considered my question.
“It would be easier toplay, yeah.”
“Play?” I smiled, loving her cuteness.
“Your game.”
“Listen, I haven’t got a game,” I glanced around us before lacing my fingers with hers. “You’re fucking beautiful, and I’m a dick. You make mefeelstuff, but I don’t know what that means.”
“Logan?”
“Yeah?” I looked at her as she wrapped her arms around my waist, burying her head in my chest.
“I just want you to hold me for a minute. I love it when you do.”
Oh, man.
I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her head as she sighed contentedly.
“Hey,” I mumbled as she looked up at me. “Stay with me. Just us.”
“And Ellie.” Jessica laughed, and I shook my head.
“No, let’s go somewhere, anywhere.”
My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt the usual adrenaline rush I got when I was a couple of lines in.
What is this shit?
“In my car? Go for a drive?” She asked with a frown.
“Yeah, we can grab some food or whatever you like,” I found myself saying as she stared at me, stunned.
“Like a date?”
“Fucking hell, must you labeleverything?” I laughed, and she pouted. “Yeah, if you like. Does the chippy count as a date?”
“You can come to mine,” she said, biting her lip. “My dad’s working away this weekend; that’s why I was going to stay here.”
“Fuck it then, let’s upgrade to Chinese food.” I chuckled, and she nodded.
