“Guess you’re all mine now.” Wes held his elbow out for her. “We’ll go through the boutique, I have paddles to add to inventory.” He adjusted the duffle bag on his shoulder and they headed toward the club store.
“You got it boss man.” Excitement and curiosity filled her belly as they walked through the club toward their destination.
Melody’s second session with Wes consumed most of their Thursday afternoon with photos of various minimalist restraints. Many of the discrete pieces were as simple as special placed bolts under an ordinary dining chair. The modified fishing magnet that he used to hook a set of cuffs was one of the more interesting revelations that sent her mind spinning as she hung limply against the wall. Her green bikini had quickly become her uniform. It allowed Wes to pose her and demonstrate what needed showcasing while keeping her modesty.
With plenty of skin to touch as he posed her and the easy heated banter between them by the time she’d reached the solitude of her apartment, she was ready to burst.
She’d stripped her clothes and she climbed into her tub. Beneath the steam, she crossed a line with her fingers between her thighs. Her mind flooded with images of what if and it didn’t take her long for his name to echo against the tile.
But she wouldn't let her growing feelings get in the way of their friendship. Sarah and Wes were important people to her and in her life.
Wes helping her get out from under the debt Jason put her in was a huge relief. The obligation was still there, but it felt more manageable to handle one source than multiple.
Melody stood off to the side as Wes handled his business and unloaded the new inventory from his bag. “Hey Claudia, I came bearing gifts.”
“Ouuu! This one looks extra spanky! I love the raised shapes. Extra ouchies,” she gushed. “Please tell me you made two?!”
“Sorry, but I can add another one to my list if you’d like.”
“Yes, please.” Her blue eyes went wide. “Oh oh, could you put ‘SIR’S PET’ on one?!”
As they talked, Melody turned her attention to the peg display board, which held an assortment of items a playing pair would want for a scene from cuffs to floggers. A set of silver clamps caught her eye and she resisted the urge to call attention to herself and touch them.
It was one of a few items on her wish to try list. The thought of experimenting alone wasn’t her idea of fun either.
“Ready for me, Mel?”
She nodded, taking everything in and not looking away. “I’m all yours, boss man.”
Wes stood behind her and leaned in, following her gaze. “So, what caught your attention?”
A shiver ran down her spine and she smoothed out her romper, stuffing down her flustered curiosity. “Nothin’.” She hoped he’d let the white lie slide but his stance didn’t waver.
He cleared his throat, waiting for her response.
Melody should know better, once his mind was set there was no changing it. “Fine. I’m not new or anything, but there are some things…”
“What about ‘em?”
She warily eyed the inflated ball with a handle that reminded her of grade-school gym class. Except for the over six-inch phallus that stuck out like a beacon. “There is a lot to take in. Just when I think I’ve learned quite a bit, surprises come out of the corners.”
Leaning in, Wes smiled against her ear. “Oh, that’s the small one. There are bigger equipt ones.”
“I'm sorry, what?" she balked.
Wes chuckled, keeping their conversation private from Claudia who was several feet from them. He was obviously enjoying her reactions. “I've seen ones that inflate. Works well for the full and trapped feeling."
“So, I um. I had a question…” Wes was flustering her easier than normal. “Um…"
“Melody?"
“I’m curious. Is there a lost and found or adoption program for misfit toys? The unwanted ones.”
“I–what?”
“So those come in threes, right?” She pointed to the set of plugs. They were purple marble-swirled silicone that ranged in size depending on experience and comfort. “You get all of them together.”
