“Look at his cock getting bigger too,” Rome said, nudging at Joe.

“I’m good,” Joe said. “I don’t need to look at his cock.”

The guys made jokes as I entered panic mode.

I lived in a small condo. A really small condo.

I preferred to save my money and invest it rather than living lavish.

Now, in reality, could Sage and Travis fit in my condo? Sure. Would they be comfortable? Yeah. But there would be no space at all. I had one bedroom. I would absolutely give Sage and Travis the bed, but I highly doubt Travis would want to sleep next to his own mother.

My couch wasn’t some fancy pullout either.

“Henry, are you okay?” Seb asked.

I blinked a few times.

Then I shook my head.

“I need to find a new place to live… right now.”

Showered, dressed, four phone calls, and five house tours later, I stood outside on the deck off the master bedroom and looked out to the ocean.

Waves smacking against the shore. A calmness offered by nature battling against the raging storm in my heart.

“This is unusual for me,” Betsy the realtor said to me.

“I understand,” I said. “It’s all cleared, right?”

“Yes. It is. Very unexpected.”

“No legal issues?”

“Of course not. Paperwork is signed. Check is valid. You got very lucky with this one. Fully furnished beach houses available right now, very rare”

“I guess that’s why I paid what I did.”

“Can’t put a price on that view,” Betsy the realtor said with a smile.

“You did your job. You can turn things down a little.”

She laughed. “Well, here are your keys. Place is yours. If you need anything else, give me a call.”

“Thank you, Betsy,” I said. “I’m sorry for being so…”

“Don’t worry about it. I’m happy we got something worked out. I thought that small cottage-like house was perfect for you.”

“This is perfect for me,” I said. “For what I need right now.”

“Okay. You enjoy then.”

Betsy gave me her million-dollar realtor smile and left me alone.

I stared out to the beach. To the ocean. It all settled down into my chest. The reality of the situation hitting me hard. Hitting me fast.

I turned and walked back into the master bedroom. I did not look at the bed, even though it almost made me smile.

Atlas stood in the kitchen, his tree-trunk sized arms folded.
