“Hands off the girl.”
Tytus is trying to help Rozalia off the ground when he turns to see my gun trained on him.
His dark eyes momentarily go wide with shock before settling into an unadulterated rage.
“You…”
He’s already reaching for his gun when I fire a warning shot at his feet. The blast rips through the tunnel like thunder, leaving behind a sharp ring.
We all wait for it to fade before anyone says another word.
“Don’t do anything you might regret,” I warn him.
But Tytus doesn’t seem to be listening. Instead, something seems to click behind his fiery eyes.
“What the fuck have you done to my sister?”
“Nothing she didn’t want,” I smirk.
“You fucking asshole,” Rozalia hisses.
She’s still on the ground.
“Help your sister up,” I tell Tytus, urging him with the barrel of my gun.
Tytus hesitates to comply. But when I don’t budge against his fiery glare, he eventually rips his attention from me to his sister.
“Are you alright?” he asks Rozalia, helping her up.
“I’m fine,” she lies. Her knees are practically clanking together.
I bite my bottom lip, remembering how those thighs feel wrapped around my cock.
“No. You’re in trouble, little lamb,” I taunt. “You missed our meeting this morning.”
“What meeting?” Tytus asks, turning to Rozalia before she can answer.
“I never agreed to any meeting,” Rozalia snarls, clearly trying to keep her discomfort from showing—and hide any pleasure she may be feeling.
“What you agree to doesn’t matter,” I remind her. “I’m in control.”
I don’t even need to lift the remote gripped in my left hand. Rozalia hears me loud and clear.
“Give it to me,” she demands.
Pushing herself off Tytus, she clumsily stumbles forward.
“I have something even better,” I playfully suggest. “It’s in my back pocket. The solution to all of your problems.”
Rozalia stops dead in her tracks.
“You have the antidote?” she whispers, a desperate innocence smothering her anger.
“Will someone tell me what the fuck is going on?” Tytus shouts.
“Your sister belongs to me,” I explain. “Or didn’t you hear? We’re to be married.”
That nearly sets the man off.
