Shit. He wasn’t really passed out in his own puke, right? That wasn’t Killian. But why wasn’t he answering the door? Maybe I needed to call downstairs and have them give me the key or—

The door swung open, and as I jerked back, I got an eyeful of exactly why Killian hadn’t answered.

His dark hair was wet and slicked back from his face, and water dripped from the ends down his strong neck. In his hand, he held together the edges of a white robe, barely keeping it closed, and I could see the way his tanned skin glistened like he’d just walked out of the shower.

Good God. The entire way up here I’d been preparing to give him a dressing down over his reckless behavior. But as I stood there completely gobsmacked over just how dressed down he already was, all of my lectures vanished in the blink of an eye.

“Jesus, Levi, is the place on fire or something?”

The place wasn’t on fire, but he certainly was. Holy shit. Why did I think it was smart to come up here again? If someone had asked me right then, I wouldn’t have had an answer.

“Levi?”

At the sound of my name, I somehow managed to drag my greedy eyes away from the strip of naked skin I could see between the lapels of Killian’s robe.

When Killian had first pulled open the door, there’d been a mix of confusion and irritation swirling in his eyes. But now his expression had turned to one I’d seen only a handful of times. It was an expression that was about to get me in a whole lot of trouble if I didn’t hurry up and get the hell out of there.

“Hi,” I said, and when Killian smiled, making his gorgeous face impossible to look away from, my next words left my brain.

Killian put a hand up on the doorframe, and the move made his robe gape open at his chest, something my dick was not unaware of.

“Hi…”

When I realized he was waiting for me to say something in return, I glanced down at the paper in my hand and then quickly held it up. “Your schedule,” I said.

Killian lowered his eyes to the paper, but instead of taking it, he looked back up at me and said, “Did you change something on it?”

I frowned. “No. Why?”

“Well, you already sent it this morning. To my email?”

My mouth fell open as I tried to come up with some sort of response, but I was drawing a blank. But could anyone blame me? Killian was standing in front of me with what I was positive was absolutely nothing on beneath that damn robe, talking to me as though this was an everyday occurrence for us.

It was not.

“Oh for God’s sake, Killian. You know the drill,” I said, annoyed that I sounded flustered in the face of all of…well, him. Then, deciding I needed to take back some of my control, I took a step forward and slapped the paper against that chest I’d just been admiring. “Stop trying to distract me and take the damn schedule.”

As soon as my hand came up against solid muscle, I realized my error. But it wasn’t until Killian wrapped his fingers around my wrist that I knew this was a mistake I’d been wanting to make for a long time now.

“Is that what I’m doing? Distracting you?”

Killian

I USUALLY PRIDED myself on being able to read a person, but as Levi stood in my hallway with his hand against my chest, I couldn’t tell if he wanted to kill me or climb me like a tree. It was a toss-up, really.

“No, you are not distracting me.” Levi quickly snatched his hand back, then looked down the hall before bringing his fiery eyes back to mine. “Do you always answer your door like this?”

Liking the fact that Levi was more flustered than I could ever remember seeing him, I slowly looked down to the robe I was barely holding shut and thought, what the hell.

I let go of the lapels and placed one hand on the doorjamb, and the robe fell wide open, exposing my freshly showered skin. “Like what?”

“You’re…you’re…”

“Naked?”

“Yes,” Levi said, and as his eyes took a quick tour of my body, I had no hope of controlling what it did next. As my cock stiffened, Levi’s eyes flew back to mine. “I know you’re naked.”

“Well, you couldn’t seem to spit it out, so…”

Levi gestured to the robe. “Would you cover yourself before someone sees you?”

“Why? Worried it’ll show up in the magazines tomorrow?”

Levi’s glare was so fierce that I probably should’ve dropped dead.

“No. But you should be. I just got everyone back to talking about the music this band makes.” Levi fumed, his eyes dropping again to all that was on display. “The last thing I need to deal with is your dick splashed all over the country.”
