“Let them kill each other.” The older man shouts.

“Stop fucking hitting me!”Eli shouts as he grips both of my wrists, spinning me around until my back is against his chest and my hands are pinned between us. His voice lowers as I force us backward again, his back hitting against the concrete wall. “Act as if I’m trying to explain myself.” He says it low enough for only me to hear.

“You’re an asshole.” I snap. “I don’t fucking care!”

“Atta girl.” He’s speaking low into my ear, and I’m sure everyone around us assumes he’s trying to talk me down. “Waistband. Count of three —”

“I can’t believe you!”I sob.“I trusted you.”I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pulling a little truth out of it.

His laugh in my ear causes my core to tighten, even in this intense situation, or maybe it tightens more because of it. “I’ve got an ankle.” He whispers. “I just need a second to grab it.

“1.” He whispers into my ear again as the video continues to play on.

“Goddamn. You’re fucking choking my cock.”Echoes through the wall, and he has to force down a groan.

“2…” his voice straining as he says it. My hand wrapping around the gun handle and attempting to slide it out of his waistband. Feeling for the safety and flipping it off.

On the screen, my arms wrap around him as he releases myhands. We’re kissing, and there’s something so beautiful about it.

His hips jolt me upwards as I gasp his name.

“I love you, Sketch.” Comes out of his mouth both on the screen and at my ear.

“I still hate that fucking name.” I mumble along with the audio.

“3.” A chuckle sounds out with his word as he completely lets go of my hand.

Whipping around my arm until I’m aiming at the man in the front, I pull the trigger, causing him to jump before he spins around. But I move, aiming in the direction of Matthews, and firing off a single shot. Eli’s up right next to me. The gun next to me fires, and the man who dragged him into the room falls at our sides.

Elias fires three more shots before he’s pulling me backwards out of the room, slamming the door shut.

Pulling me into him his lips claim mine quickly before he pulls back and nods. “Let’s go.” He shouts, still dragging me behind him by my hand.

“Yeah,” he mutters, but I have no idea what he’s talking about.

“What?”

“Huh?” he asks, before pointing up to his ear to where I assume the comms sits.

Motioning to me to stay back, he rounds a corner, looking in the window before nodding.

“Got her.” He mumbles out. His shoulders moving, but I can’t quite see what he’s doing.

I don’t need to ask him what; I know we’re at Low’s room.

Glancing back at me, Eli puts his finger over his lips before nodding back at the door.

He snakes his hand flat against it, pushing it open and readying his gun.

I can’t see anything as my back remains flat against the wall.

Hearing the muffled shot, I realize he was screwing on a silencer.

Motioning back towards me before he grabs my arm, making sure I move around him before he’s pushing me through the door, shoving it closed, and looking up at me. He hesitates for a moment, grimacing before looking at the body lying on the cement floor.

“You realize I’m the daughter of an outlaw, right?” I laugh at him as I take a couple of steps toward him.

“I know.” He whispers before nodding toward the door. Hauling the body towards the door, lying it in the way, blocking the room’s entrance.
