“Sure,” Jack said with a broad, easy smile. “I’ll just keep you off the nest a day or two.”

JP knitted his brow. “No, no—”

Jack stroked his cheek with his free hand. “I’ll look after ’em. We keep you off the nest a day or two, you’ll go back to ovulating.”

“Will I?” JP had no idea.

“Pretty sure, yeah.” Jack was fucking him with three fingers now, and JP’s toes curled, it felt so good. “We can ask the doctor though when she comes up here.”

“But,” JP panted, slowly wrapping himself around Jack, “won’t that mean we gotta leave these eggs uncovered?”

“Nah,” Jack said. JP curled a leg over his hip. “We’ll cover ’em up real good. And I’ll look after them when I’m not fucking you.”

JP let his eyes flutter shut, tilted his head back on a throaty moan. Jack nipped at his neck, making him shiver. “You want that, birdie?”

“Yeah,” JP moaned as Jack stroked his belly. “Yeah, I wanna—I wanna—”

“Tell me what you want,” Jack whispered, and JP whined. It was hard to think with three fingers plunging in and out of him and Jack rubbing his belly that way.

“I wanna—get knocked up again,” he panted. “I wanna—get all … round with eggs again, oh, Jack, fuck!”

He came with a clipped cry, clamping down hard on Jack’s fingers. He clutched at the alpha’s shoulder, panting. Jack rubbed his shoulder, rubbed other parts of JP too, and JP was warm all over, inside and out. His brain felt like mush.

Fear seized him suddenly. He looked at Jack. “You’re … you’re not really gonna …”

Jack smiled at him. “Just talk, birdie. You got really excited.”

JP flushed with embarrassment. Jack wrapped his arms around him and snuggled up to him, as much as JP’s tummy would allow. “Unless you want it. Then it’s fair game.”

“Just talk,” JP said. His mouth was dry. He wanted it badly, but he also wanted to get these eggs out of him and mind his nest, and he didn’t need six chicks in six months, he really didn’t. He wasn’t even sure he could handle however many were in this clutch.

Jack kissed the top of his head. “All right then,” he said.
