“What happened to your hair?”
Taken aback, I move my head out of his reach and frown back at him. “You said you wanted fancy.
You said I could get my hair done.”
“Done, yes, but this isn’t your hair. Where are the curls?” He leans in again, his lips hovering
above mine as he speaks. “They were so beautiful cascading down your back when I first saw you—
wild, just like you. Please tell me this isn’t permanent, like a reverse perm or something.”
Chuckling, I try to push him out the door before he can see anything too messy in my apartment,
but he doesn’t budge. “If you’re referring to permanent straightening, then no. This is just a blowout
and style. It will go back to curly once I wash it.”
“Thank God,” he murmurs, wrapping his arm around my waist to pull me closer.
His lips hover above mine for several agonizing moments, and I close my eyes, preparing to savor
a toe-curling kiss. But it doesn’t happen. Cracking an eye, I peek at him, noting the hunger in his gaze.
“I can’t wait to smear this lipstick, to kiss you so hard that it all comes off, but I know how
women are about their makeup. So, I promise not to ravish you until after we’ve eaten.”
“I-I mean, you know,” I stammer. “Or you can do it now? I don’t mind. Honest.” Need beats at my
brain as his fingers drift over my waist.
Since he denied my orgasm last night, and instructed me not to self-satisfy, I’ve been a wreck.
While I was working, it was easy to put it out of my head, to concentrate on getting the job done. But
now, with his hands so close to my skin that I can almost feel the heat through my dress, I’d much
rather skip the date completely.
“Nice try, minx,” he whispers against my skin as he slides his lips down the column of my neck.
“And ruin all this hard work you did for me? I think not. Come on. Let’s get you some dinner so I can
have my dessert.”
The twinkle in his eyes leaves me no doubt that I’m what’s on the menu, and all it does is ramp up
my need even further. Stifling a groan, I slip my hand in Master Aiden’s and let him lead me out to his
car.
It’s a small, sleek vehicle and I feel like I’ve seen his car in movies, but somehow, that doesn’t
surprise me. Reaching down, I let my fingers glide over the smooth curves, smiling as Master Aiden
reaches out to lay his fingers over mine.
“I’m glad you like her. I don’t take her out much anymore. Only on special occasions.”
