Alexia was still running her mouth, and every word made me want to get around Drayla that much more.
“Move, Dray!”
“Nawl!”
“Move!”
“I said nawl!”
Alexia laughed.
That was the wrong fucking thing to do.
I tried to step around Drayla again, but this time, Alexia came forward too.
Drayla caught her first.
“See, bitch, now you getting on my fucking nerves.”
Alexia shoved her, and Drayla stumbled back a step, then slowly looked at her.
“Oh.”
I knew that look.
“Drayla—”
“Nawl.” She handed me her purse without taking her eyes off Alexia. “Hold this.”
“Girl—”
“I said, hold my shit.”
I snatched the purse from her, and Alexia barely had time to square up before Drayla was on her ass.
All I could do was stand there watching as the two of them started fighting. Alexia was trying her hardest to get the upper hand while Drayla wasn't giving her shit to work with.
“Beat her ass, Dray!”
“Shut the fuck up, Sianni!” Drayla yelled back.
I blinked.
“Damn!”
Even in the middle of fighting, this bitch was still worried about me.
A couple people farther down the walking path had stopped, phones already coming out.
“Oh, hell nawl.”
The last fucking thing we needed was another video of some bullshit involving me hitting the internet.
“Drayla!”
She didn’t hear me.
“DRAYLA! People recording!”
